Hello everyone! This is Direwo... wait, no... But, since I've caught your attention now, I'd like to show you a mod that I've been creating for some time now. The Mod is called OpenGlasses ans is an extension to OpenComputers. It is analogous to glasses from the OpenPeripherals add-on for ComputerCraft, but adds a few more nifty features.
OpenGlasses is a mod which adds Augmented Reality features to Minecraft. You can render objects, like shapes and text both in the world and on the players HUD, only visible to those with the Open Glasses on (think Google Glass, but in blocky form).
Would it be possible to get a 1.8 backport? (I'm waiting on a few other mods to get updated.)
Could you provide some examples or a tutorial? I'm having a rather hard time with this.
I think you can use this:
http://minecraft.bymarcin.com/OpenGlasses/doku.php
maybe expand upon the nifty features added.
Will you ever update this again? Or can you at least pass the torch to someone willing to support it? I don't want to see yet another good mod go to waste because the author stopped supporting it. (AE2, I'm looking at you)
OK, very cool. I just got a bit of a scare when I realized the last update was about a year ago. Thank you for your continued support! :)
Are you still planning on updating to 1.10?
Already done
It seems like a pretty nice mod, and what's your stance on modpacks?
This mod is licensed under the MIT License, which basically means you can do whatever you want: use it in modpacks, fork it, copy parts of it, as long as you include the license file with it. If you use it in modpacks: the file is in the ZIP, so you don't have to worry about that. Giving credit would be appreciated but isn't obligatory. If you do make code changes, please make it abundantly clear to anyone using that modified version that they should come to you for support, first, though.
Okay, thanks.
