Very important Note about the Respawn Anchor
- The Anchor only works in the Nether
- Don't break the Anchor without setting a new Spawnpoint in the Nether first or you could get stuck if you die. If that happens you can disable respawning in the Nether
You will only respawn if you die in the Nether.
The Spawnpoint does not get Overridden if you set a new Spawnpoint in the Overworld.
You do not need to charge the Anchor

Q: Can I use this mod in my Modpack?
A: Yeah go for it, Modpacks are great.
Q: Can you Port this Mod to Version.....?
A: Nope not going to happen.
Q: Why do the files get so much bigger?
A: Sounds and music take lots of space.
Q: Why don't my resource pack override Nether Textures?
A: I change the direction of the resource path if the option for textures is on, so either disable them with the config or make a new resource pack using the netherlicious path.
That's the only way I can change the texture with code.
In reply to aetherlegacypro:
hehe thanks, there will be more new biomes in the future, but right now I'm taking a break. Since I begun working on this mod in may I was almost non-stop working on it :D
will the piglin castle strucuture will be backported aswell ?
In reply to alexandru20111:
Maybe, I'm not so sure about backporting big structures. If I'm doing it don't expect it to be in the near future
Striders? in 1.7.10? you awesome :D
In reply to hawk_kz:
Hehe, thanks. They are different tho, couldn't make them walk on lava on their own. The pathing count's lava as a block that should be avoided.
Riding on lava works mostly as intended, you don't want to jump into lava with them or you'll get a nice lava bath :D
In reply to DelirusCrux:
Don't know if you thought about that or not, but did you think about giving the striders an unique path finding system?
In reply to exetiorfan:
I did, I remade the whole thing at one point and it still considered lava blocks as unsafe, but as long as you can ride them on lava I don't see it as a big issue.
In reply to DelirusCrux:
No, I think it's fine. They need a little polishing as of now but if I'm remembering correctly, the path finding has simply to do with 1.7.10 not allowing lava as a safe block, right?
Here some little things I found out:
- Striders move their bodies in the direction you move your head. Makes it look a little wonky so not too much of a problem. That also leads to problems when trying to tame them, since you need to look at their head, which... is... non-existent.
- I think it would be neat to at least give the option to make striders move like saddled pigs [if that's possible] and add the fungus on a sticc ( Í¡° ͜ʖ Í¡°).
- Even cooler would it be [as of now their inventory allows for a horse armor slot], to either get rid of that entirely or to change the model and add a, sort of, strider armor. [Again, if you need textures, hit me up, I already edited some for the striderflank while using mutton as an inspiration :D].
- As you have noticed [obviously] the striders don't react to standing on normal ground by shivering.
- I personally don't think it's too bad that striders don't spawn on lava. Adds to their personality that they seem to be shy ;) Though I have to say I'd find it cute if you could make baby striders spawn riding adult striders :3.
- Walking on lava could be a little smoother, but I guess that's due to restrictions of walking on liquid source blocks.
- Maybe you should also slow down the walking animation a little. Looks goofy when sprinting with the boy ^^"
But so far very interesting :D
In reply to Forge_User_47275982:
Well it's more like an issue with my abilities than with 1.7.10. :D I'm better with world generation than with entities.
I won't give striders the ai to be controlled with an item, since guess what? that doesn't work on lava :D
The shaking could be done, but since they don't walk on lava on their own they would always shake. Not to mention I don't want to invest too much time into one mob when there is so much more I want to add. There are a few things I could improve in the future tho.
And textures for the armor overlay would be awesome, I know how to do it, I'm just missing the textures and totally forgot that we already talked about textures. Oh my poor poor memory :D
In reply to DelirusCrux:
Oh damn. Sometimes 1.7.10 could drive you crazy :D But your plans sure sound interesting!
And, yeah, don't sweat it. If you want to do armor overlays for the striders, hit me up and I try my best :D
In reply to DelirusCrux:
By the way: Would you be interested in me translating your mod into German? I'd gladly do that :)
In reply to Forge_User_47275982:
In reply to DelirusCrux:
Oh... lel.
Naja okay ^^" Aber ich kann es trotzdem machen, kein Problem. Ich habe gerade nichts zutun und schon für UpToDate eine deutsche Übersetzung geschrieben :D
cool maybe after strider in the future will be hoglins, piglins and zoglins aswell also keep going the mod is amazing
In reply to alexandru20111:
well it's beta at the moment :D Hoglins and Zoglins will be next. Piglins will come later
In reply to DelirusCrux:
are they replacing zombie pigmen like the 1.16 update did?
In reply to partyghoul2000:
I'm not replacing Zombie Pigman with Zombified Piglins. There are a few mods that need the regular Zombie Pigman.
Hey there.
I really do enjoy using this mod. But I've noticed that there was some incompatiblity issues with Advent of Ascension and DivineRPG as the mobs don't spawn generally. I have tried disabling the mod and renabling as well, even tried using JAS [Just Another Spawner] and still having the same issue. The game starts up fine but as I mentioned earlier, the mobs do not spawn whatsoever.
In reply to Forge_User_01914304:
that is really strange, atleast AoA mobs spawn just fine in my world. Maybe something from another mod blocks the spawning. Also remember, mobs might spawn in caves that are not visible at first.
What mods do you use? maybe I could identify what's causing the issue
In reply to DelirusCrux:
I do have a quite a list of mods which I use. I hope you wouldn't mind if I told you on either Discord or Telegram? Help would be really appreciated!~
