Nature's Compass is a utility item that allows you to search for a biome's location anywhere in the world and view information about it. It is the sister mod of Explorer's Compass, an item that can be used to locate structures.
Features
- Right-clicking with Nature's Compass in hand will open the biome selection GUI, from which you can search for a biome or view information about it.
- Shift-right-clicking will reset the compass's state.
- When the compass is not pointing at a biome, it will point at the world spawn.
- The compass supports all registered biomes, both vanilla and modded.
- Sample space and maximum search distance can be adjusted in the config file.
Note
As of 1.18, the compass will search for biomes at a similar height that the player was at when the search started. If you're having trouble finding cave biomes, try going to a lower height and searching again.

Please post the crash report.
In reply to enzoo_games:
iris is used for fabric
and this mod is specifically a forge one
hope this helps
I'm playing with this mod in the Age of fate pack, and I can't scroll in the compass menu. Do you know a fix? Thanks!
In reply to ArtIsArt:
What Minecraft version and Nature's Compass version are you using?
In reply to Chaosyr:
1.16.5 MC, 1.16.5-1.9.1 Nature's Compass. The AOF pack also uses a font-change mod that affects the UI of the compass slightly, but I'm not sure that's the cause.
hello, one question, I downloaded the mod for 1.21.2 to play it with pixelmon and it won't let me craft the natural compass, I don't know if I did something wrong or I don't know, can you help me?
sorry if there is any misunderstanding is that I am Argentine and I am using the google translator

In reply to lambofchurch:
Yes, it works in survival.
Mentioned this mod in a video I made:
Nice job!
Will this work with Optifine/OptiFabric?
In reply to BirbFacts:
Yes.
Does this work with the terralith mod or biomes o plenty?
In reply to lizzykittenmeow:
Yes, it works with all modded biomes.
In reply to Chaosyr:
Hey just out of curiosity, does it have trouble with the environmental mod? I'm using version 1.16.5 for a server and it doesn't seem to be able to locate them.
whenever i try to locate a biomes-o-plenty biome it says not found and the features suggested to adjusted sample space and maximum search distance but im unsure how to do that for my server and i cant find any information to do it?!
In reply to jessiesnewgirl:
Those values can be found in the Nature's Compass config file in your server's config folder. If you're using Forge, the file you're looking for is naturescompass-common.toml, and if you're using Fabric it is naturescompass.json.

I've gotten this error twice loading into curseforge. Any ideas? ;-;
edit: using forge version 39.0.0
In reply to traziil:
Version 1.9.4 is for Forge 39.0.7 and above. You can either update Forge, or downgrade Nature's Compass to 1.9.3.
