Modern Metals
When the 19 additional metals in Base Metals just isn't enough, there is Modern Metals!
This add-on to Base Metals adds 18 more along with the corresponding tools to incorporate a more "modern" flavor: Aluminum, Aluminum Brass, Cadmium, Chromium, Galvanized Steel, Iridium, Magnesium, Manganese, Nichrome, Osmium, Plutonium, Rutile, Stainless Steel, Tantalum, Titanium, Tungsten, Uranium, and Zirconium.

No it's not, it's found in really concentration naturally in Earth, like the Protactinium and Acticium. It's pretty stable actinide, not so much radioactive, with long life period, not like Acticium, Radium and Polonium which are highly radioactive with small life period.
1.12 version?
First off, I'd like to say that this is a really great mod. All the textures look great, and the idea is great. I do have a few questions, though... are there any plans to make the 1.10.2 version of this mod TiC compatible, or has everyone moved onto the 1.11 version? also would you consider making this mod compatible with mods such as Mystical Agriculture and JER (Just Enough Resources) (I mainly ask because it would be easier than making a wiki page) ?
In reply to Phil_Skinn:
Is this TiC compatible?

here is an idea.... why not have a wiki that is actually helpful. So far, there is zero information about where to find most of the raw materials in the game, and for some modpacks, like Age of Engineering, that makes it impossible to get past age 11, because you need those materials to get to age 12.

Actually super excited upon hearing that TCconstruct tool parts for materials in this mod are coming out, I'd like to assume the same will be done with the ores in base metals that don't have TConstruct support. Which reminds me, you did tell me over on DrCyano's forum post that you were making a base gems mod... I want to know more about that. :)
Firstly yes, TCon support (and all other features) will be coming to base metals)
Base gems is still in design phase, Materials are mostly locked in, but what things will be provided and how they work has not.

good mod!hehe
What is the point of this mod? Ores with no uses at all?
What is the point of that comment? words with absolutely no purpose at all?

Mod awesome! But... You can delete bows, arrows and crossbows? Why dont just add a possible make a tools of your metals with Tinkers Construct? Its hard beacase need a draw textures for TC tools?
Does this mod works with Tinkers Construct 2?
I mean can we make tools out of it?
If you look here, you'll notice they're working on compatibility between TiC (which I assume is Tinkers' Construct) and both Base Metals and Modern Metals. I can't wait for that to happen; but we must be patient! :3
EDIT: Yep, just tested; you cannot make TC2 tools out of the new ores yet. Certain things look like they're already registered into TC2 though (Bronze, Electrum, Steel, etc) and are thus possible to forge into tools.
Those specific "working" examples aren't part of modern metals at all.
They're generic mod metal support built into Tinkers' Construct.
