This mod (Fabric) allows you to add lots of different Minecraft blocks.
It also adds some variations like vertical blocks and new quarter blocks.

These are new variations that don't exist in Minecraft.
They will allow you to detail your constructions enormously.
There are also stairs and slabs (vertical) for all blocks of Minecraft. A dream come true.

You also have the option of adding grass to the dirts slabs.

Awesome! Is there any way to disable the sticks from this mod, because some mods that require sticks need the normal Minecraft stick and I can't craft normal sticks from the different wooded sticks unless that was added in the new update as well.
Hello strictlyfpsgames,
You cannot disable MineGate sticks, but be aware that Minecraft sticks are always dropped with the oak tree.
(If other mods also add sticks that exist in the MineGate mod, they will be compatible with each other.)
Have a good day :)
This mod worked all fine until just now where I get on the game to find all the textures missing/corrupted, and I'm not sure what could have caused it.
I've installed a few new mods since then but can't think of any of them being an issue.
Hello ChalkyWormswood,
Can you tell me what exactly you did to make the textures missing?
Which version of the mod and Minecraft are you using?

In reply to MrFantiVideo:
Apparently it was the Linking Book mod that caused it, for whatever reason, so removing it fixed it!
Edit: The version of Minegate I use is 1.1.3 for 1.16.5, and I play 1.16.5 Minecraft.
The Linking Books mod is 1.16.5-fabric-0.4.0.1
This mod looks great, a shame it's Fabric only. What are the odds you could make a forge version? What would that require and how could people who follow your mod help you make a forge version?
Hello zombieguildfordstreams,
I regret to inform you that this is not planned for the moment.
The chances are low and only my motivation and my interest for forge depend on it.
However, I can advise you to try switching to Fabric.
Have a good day :)
In reply to MrFantiVideo:
The issue with your recommendation is that not every mod has a fabric counterpart. I'm not going to give up some really good mods just so I can install this one.
will there be a forge version anytime soon?

just found a strange bug. I was able to fall through a netherwart slab. (crimson stem "leaves"). there seems to be something wrong with that slab that lets you walk through it. fell into the void :(
Hello bjcamp95,
Thank you for the feedback !
This bug is fixed for the next update.
(She should be released in a few days...)
Have a good day :)
I need a Forge Version of this in my Life

I wish we can use the different variants of sticks for making tools, building blocks, weapons, etc. I love the mod but it's a pain to try and find oak trees just to get normal sticks since vanilla and modded recipes usually just use normal sticks.
Hello Minzhire,
Thank you for the feedback !
You can already use each of the stick types to craft tools, building blocks, weapons, etc...
However, you have noticed that on a craft it does not work, it could be a bug and in this case, please report it here or on Discord.

and sorry for the late reply.
I really really love this mod. It sounds like such a small thing, but the addition of things like vertical slabs and sideways stairs expands the building toolkit so much. It makes such a huge difference, and I like how you utilized the stonecutter as a ui for these, it makes it nice and simple. The one request I'd like to make is to add some options to the mod so that the new blocks added to the worldgen, like the tile ore and obsidian ore, can be turned on and off. The reason I say that is because most of the mod does not affect worldgen at all, and that piece of functionality seems somewhat separate from the addition of the vertical slabs and other block variants, so it feels strange for them to be completely tied together. But that's a minor point. The vertical slabs and other block variants are awesome to work with, and I also really like the new types of block you added, like the herringbone planks and the terracotta bricks. Thanks for putting in the work on this, this mod is great.
Hello OhHeyItsEvvy,
Thank you for the feedback !
Glad to see you like the mod.
For the generation of world and the ores, I am considering making an option but I do not promise anything yet.
I also need to watch how the new generation of 1.17 evolves for future updates.
But I'll save your idea for later.
Have a good day :)
and sorry for the late reply.
This is my first time trying to get a mod working, i would love to run this mod on java, is there any chance someone could run me through that process?
Thank you.
Hello the_cactipus,
To install this mod, you must go to the Fabric website and download the installer in « .exe » or « .jar » according to your preferences.
Install the profile and go to your « .minecraft » folder, in the mods folder and drag the « .jar » mod into it.
