v5.0.5 RC6 1.7.10 Build Craft Thermal Expansion Liquid poured decomposition chance collapse.......
I actually don't have any clue what you were trying to say here...
Try filling into the oil. . .
Filling into what oil? With what are you filling? Minechem doesn't do anything with Buildcraft, and just uses the Thermal expansion RF API, nothing else.
Oh....., but oil, fuel can be fed into it, I think the oil can be broken down, resulting in the collapse, since they could not be used, why not let them into the block.
This problem, your new version has been resolved, no problem, but the oil contains large amounts of elements, not bad if you can break down.
I still have no clue what you're trying to say.
Will there be future support for putting chemicals on Tinkers' Construct Shurikens, Crossbow Bolts, and other such ranged weaponry?
Possibly, but definitely not in v5. We're currently working on building the framework for v6, which is a complete rewrite of the system.
What version of minecraft are you aiming for? 1.7.1 is my preference for mods currently.
I'm focusing on 1.7.10 for all my mods.
I am looking forward to it, Minechem is a fantastic mod.
One of my favorite and complex mods!!! Please keep up the great work!- McMissle of DwF
Ah cool, well im sort of glad in a way because even i don't want the mod going "too heavy" in the chemistry, its nice to keep it believable, balanced and fun :) if we all need degrees to use it im sure support would drain pretty quick :P
I'll head on over there and get my foot in the door and chip in any way I can, but i wont go crazy and make it super complex, because most likely I'll confuse myself as much as you guys :)
Heh...about that...I'm not exactly a skilled chemist.
I'd love to get some help with the chem side of the project. Best place to get started is the Esper.net IRC channel, we hang out in #minechem and talk programming and future development.
Im currently studying a master's of chemistry at University, I assume your even higher educated in chemistry than I am but I'd love to chip in any way I can to develop this mod :D I love it.
Having it so it requires it to just be a single (1x1x1) water block would be good, because frankly you can drop anything into a minecraft ocean and it should be so dilute nothing will happen (maybe still lose sample, but that's up to you to decide) so a single water block will dissolve the compound/element.
I'd love to see this too but frankly I think it would open a whole new avenue of complexity to the development of the mod and personally I'd prefer to see the current compounds fleshed out, some complex compounds don't actually do anything in game, and some elements/compounds just exist to make a compound that doesn't do anything, lol.
Plus the "swastiza" alone isn't the nazi symbol, the nazi one is that shape in a white circle on a red background, people get too hung up and freak out when they see just the semblance of that shape, but that geometric shape only means that horrible symbol when it's the shape PLUS the background.
I'd post a pic but A) I know no-one wants to even see that "flag" again and I don't either, and B) there are most likely rules against it, and rightly so.
Go ahead and report this in the issue tracker, make sure to read through the Bug Reporting Guidelines to make sure you give us all the info we need.
