LT 3D Importer is a mod that lets you import 3D models (with textures!) to your Minecraft world as LittleTiles structures. The only currently supported format of 3D models is .obj. Textures should be in .png or .jpg format. Supports importing textures with MTL declared in the .obj file as well. This is a beta version, expect missing/broken features!
IMPORTANT: Importing large structures while on a dedicated server may corrupt your player data file/chunk (which must be then edited or deleted) and kick you out of the server! If that happens and you don't know how to fix it, hit me on the CreativeMD discord (link on CreativeCore mod CurseForge page below)
This mod requires latest version of LittleTiles as well as CreativeCore to work properly!
For information on how to use this mod, check the wiki pages on GitHub.
Thank you CreativeMD for Little Tiles - such an amazing mod!
Notable thanks goes to Fredlllll for his plugin Print3D. I would have a hard time figuring out how to work with textures without it!
*I do not own any 3D models featured in the description or pictured in the logo. These models and their respective textures are freely available at cadnav.com.
Suggestion: Option to import models as LT slices! (so it would have exactly same shape as source poly-mesh model)

Something tells me that it's incredibly difficult to implement
I hope you can add .pmx as an option
For the love of holy god, could you make a structure exporter as .obj or other ?
Because I need to convert my LT map in a model for performance optimization.
Basically an exporter will help me with the mesures, to remake the map in a model
Thank

Sure! I plan to add 3D Exporter in a future update. I cannot tell when exactly it will happen though.

It's a great mod and exactly what I've been looking for. But it doesn't have backward compatibility with other versions of littletiles and creative core
which is fine ofc just a comment
Very nice mod. I have a question/suggestion. Is it possible to add support for .vox (magicavoxel) or vxm (voxeledit) format? The fact is that for these formats there are special programs in which it is convenient to edit. If you use export to obj in these programs and then import using your mod, the result is distorted.
In reply to OLEGikoligik:
That format looks interesting. It is completely different from .obj but looks like it could be very similar to the LT save format. I will add it to my TO-DO list for a future update.
In reply to Timardo:
Big thanks!
i use 1.16 rn, but still seeing this is absolute insanity awesome work, looking forward to the future of this
Yes it can, powerful settings to get final scale with precise.
Ok ok, anyway my works to MC is untextured... Thanks for such great tool.
Hi, would this work in multiplayer? I'm currently giving it a spin. Thank you for your hard work.

Hi, I have not tested the mod on a server yet. My guess is, you can actually work with it by using your server path for textures and local path for model files (maybe also server, I'm not sure) which is very inconvenient and will change in the future to be more server friendly. If either of those options works, you can also use relative paths to files that start in Minecraft's base directory - "mods/model.obj" should work if you put a model.obj file in your mods folder.
So. How to process multiple textures for a model?
In reply to Dushess74:
It's currently not possible, but it's on my to-do list. The only thing you can do currently is to split a model by materials/textures and import each as a separate model. Or find a way to merge textures, objects and UV maps into one object and texture file. I had not any success with this method, even though the internet says it's possible.
Ohhh, oooohhhhh. It happened!
I'm so happy that you made this mod. Something similar was on my todo list for years and it probably would have stayed there for quite longer. Very very good job!
