KalStuff is just another mod with random stuff. While originally started by me(Kalman98) to test out modding in 1.8, soon me and some friends decided to start a modding team. We needed something to practice on, so I uploaded KalStuff to GitHub and we started working together. Even though KalStuff was created as a test, by this point it has enough content to make it fully playable(to some extent - it's not like we try super hard to balance things). It's got some convenient tools and items to use in the early game, and we do try our best to keep with the feel of Vanilla Minecraft.
WHO?
TEAM Modding Team is currently working on KalStuff, in partnership with Creeps, inc..
TEAM Modding Team consists of the following members:
Kalman98 - code, models, and textures, leader of project
pianoman373 - code, models, and textures
CircuitLord - code
PieCrafter314 - code
ParkerMc - code
Angelgal246 - textures and art
Creeps, inc. members blackout4488 and nunyabiznis both help with KalStuff by supplying ideas.
WHAT?
KalStuff is a mod that adds many things to Minecraft.
If you can come up with a good description for it, let us know.
WHERE?
You can download KalStuff right here on CurseForge. Just download the version you want from the sidebar to the right, or you can click on Files at the top of the page to see every release.
KalStuff is distributed under the GNU General Public License, version 3.0. Basically, it means you can do
what you want with our code, even modify and redistribute it, as long as you give us credit for it and
don't attempt to make any money off of it. You can read the whole license here if you want to.
Or you could just download the mod and get to playing with it!
WHEN?
Now! You can download the 1.0 release of Kalstuff and play it with your friends today!
WHY?
Because we can! Do we really need a reason to add new stuff to one of the most awesome games on the planet?
And besides those reasons, modding is just fun.
HOW?
To install KalStuff, simply download the jar appropriate for the version of Minecraft you are using from the links above.
Make sure you have Minecraft Forge installed, and you've run Minecraft with it at least once.
Then copy the mod jar file into the mods folder in .minecraft, and run Minecraft.
As for how to actually use the mod, there is a wiki set up on GitHub, which you can find here.
We update it as we release new mod updates, so it should always have the information you need.
Some Content:
Crushed Ender (chorus fruit but better)
Bridge Blocks (magic pistons?)
Chicken Nests (keeping things humane)
Walking Sticks (blocking skips)
Food Blocks (edible but mostly cool looking)
Daggers (faster, weaker swords with backstabbing)
Boxing Gloves (knock out foes instead of murder)
Chocolate Capped, Coffee Infused Bacon Wands ('')
Sodas (sippable potions)
Screenshots:
All features as of the v1.0.0-beta update!
And some old ones:

Thus marks the end of the page for KalStuff. We really hope you enjoy the mod, and please, give us feedback if you try it!
Bugs and issues can be reported here, but you can also leave them in the comments of this post, although they may not get answered as quickly there. If you have ideas for stuff we could add to the mod, by all means, post them down below, although I would prefer you have tried the mod before asking for us to add stuff to it. If you happen to want to make a mod review, I'll happily post it on this page as long as it is family friendly. Thanks for reading through to the end of this post! Unless you skipped straight to the end here.
are you guys gonna work on the 1.10.2 version? because the last update was august last year.

As promised, KalStuff v0.8.0, "The Great Update", has been released! KalStuff has been updated to work with Minecraft version 1.11.2. You can see a full changelog here, but here is a list of a few notable additions:
Added:
Many bugs have been fixed as well! Please, tell us what you think of the new features, and if you find any bugs, then it would help us greatly if you could post them on our issue tracker here.
We hope you enjoy KalStuff 0.8.0!
We have an announcement to make. When this project reaches 1,024 downloads, the TEAM is going to release the biggest update to KalStuff yet! If we reach that amount before February 16th, 2017, then we will wait until said date to release the update. Along with many new features added to the mod, the update will bring KalStuff to 1.11, so it can be used with the latest modifications! It also cleans up large amounts of messy code, and in general cleans up the mod to make the user experience better.
So come on, tell your friends, get the word out! Be Bold! Let's get this mod updated!
the grapes in that screenshot thing doesn't make sense. i think they should act like vines, but that they also still require dirt. or maybe you should make it so that there's a pole for the grapevine to climb on.
By the way, your mod is disabling TechReborn because it turns an iron ingot into a soda can, TechReborn wants to turn the iron ingot into refined iron. I suggest making machine that turn turns ingots into cans.
Sorry, sorry, yes, thank you for reminding me. I meant to do that weeks ago but them some stuff happened and I felt unmotivated to mod for a while. I'll see about getting an update out within the next week. Keep an eye out for it.
Yo, I just wanna let you know, I think the grapes are fine.
GREAT MOD, btw if that's how you want grapes to grow, let them grow that way :D this is a game after all, and the possibilities are endless, no point AT ALL to make anything realistic, be you and code like you, I'm learning to code and I in no HELL, do I plan to make my stuff make sense in any way :P so , again do you!
Best Regards,
Epiic!
This is not how grapes work.
That doesn't just give you the right to throw all logic all of the window. Grapes do not grow like that, and making them grow properly is not a gamebreaking mechanic like adding proper gravity simulation would be.
There's no obligation at all, I was just pointing out that it felt like a a pretty bad way to kill someone's suspension of disbelief. You don't have to make them ultra realistic, but the current way you have them just makes no sense.

It took a while to get the update out, but is this better? Grape seeds must be crafted with sticks in order to be planted.
