Iron Age Furniture - Phase 2
Iron Age Furniture is a mod designed with one simple goal in mind, to add typical, Iron Age style furniture to Minecraft, and to be compatible with as many different mods which provide new wood types as possible, it is designed to be a simple, uncluttered mod, and to not include any modern styles.
If you have any suggestions or questions you can find me on Discord here, be sure to tag me (SkyBlade) to get my attention.
These below are the new vanilla chairs added in Phase 1, there are a lot more if you install compatible mods such as Biomes o Plenty, Natura or Forestry.
This screen shot is with the x128 texture pack and the chocapix shaders

Resource Packs
The following resource packs add the higher resolution textures for the shield chair back, in order to make the wood textures of the furniture better, also add your favourite texture pack for those, for example an x64 texture pack for vanilla will make the chairs look a lot better.
Compatibility
In addition to the Vanilla wood types, where the mod is available for that version of Minecraft, Iron Age Furniture will automatically (unless the option is turned off) include furniture so be made from the woods of these mods
- Biomes O Plenty
- Natura
- Forestry
- Immersive Engineering
- Oh The Biomes You'll Go
And if you have a favourite wood oriented mod not listed here, get in contact and I may be able to add it in.
In reply to SkyBlade1978:
hello i just used the newest version when i posted that comment :)
In reply to Pitlos_Tails:
Ah well, the newest files are the Phase 2 betas (with the new benches in them) but the way I do my development is oldest version first, so I wrote the phase 2 for 1.10, then 1.12, and now I am making it work for 1.14. At some point all the phase 2 development will be done for all the MC versions and then they will all be marked as release versions all at once, until then, assuming you're using 1.16 you can just use the latest release version of the 1.16 build. If you wanna let me know what you think of the new benches though you could download the mc 1.12 compatible beta (1.12.2 v0.2.0.x) and give it a whirl (in an older forge tho), I think they're pretty nice the way they join together ...
Perhaps MCAbnormal mods support for their wood types?
In reply to TheMoosiestMoose:
Maybe yeah, I've never tried their mods but they seem popular enough, can you suggest any in particular? Does the swamp expansion add new wood types?
In reply to SkyBlade1978:
Super late on this, but there are several wood types either existing or soon to be existing once mods are out of beta.
-Autumity has Maple,
-Environmental has the old Swamp Expansion Willow and Wisteria that was in Bloomful, and I think Cherry Wood is there as well (Both Swamp Expansion and Bloomful were merged with some other concepts to make Environmental for 1.16+)
-Atmospheric has Rosewood, and Yucca currently
-Endergetic Expansion has Poise at the moment
-Upgrade Aquatic adds both Driftwood (that you find as fallen logs in both the ocean and on beaches) and River Wood.
And while it's not part of Abnormals, Enhanced Mushrooms is an associated mod that adds wood types to both the giant red and brown mushrooms, as well as Quark's Glowshrooms.
In reply to TheMoosiestMoose:
Thanks, I'll go through these suggestions and see if its logical to add some integration for there mods as part of phase 3 (presently I'm creating new lighting objects)
Would it be possible to add in wood from the Treemendous mod?
Thank you :D
In reply to joethepigeon:
Probably, I'll look into it, most mods woods can be added (with varying degrees of work on my part depending on how that mod works)
1.12?
In reply to suomi_ikuisesti1:
Yep there is a 1.12 version, curseforge doesn't label it on the list as such but it is here;

1.16.4 support soon? Thank u!
In reply to Cixon:
Done.
Well to be precise, it already worked on 1.16.4 I just hadn't marked it as such, you should be able to search and install it now for that version.
Furniture looks really good. I have been looking for Medieval or Victorian furniture for awhile. This will look great in my steampunk build. Looking forward to the benches and other things you come up with. And if you ever try your hand at Victorian style I will be quick to download. Keep up the great work!
In reply to wolff000:
In the long term, there are plans for a stone age and steam age, but they will take time.
In reply to wolff000:
Thanks, we do want to do some other ages, like Victorian, once this mod is fully done then I'll have all the code and tooling in place that I can consume the models FoxNekisune produces pretty quickly and turn out a new mod, for now it's a lot of coding was working on the benches for about a week :/
In reply to SkyBlade1978 and FoxNekitsune:
Glad to hear there plans for other ages. Can't wait to see what you all come up with!
The new release for 1.16.3 and 1.15.2 is up, this is still Phase 1 (so not the new benches yet) but this new version does now include Oh The Biomes You'll Go support and with that, a lot of new wood types can be used to build with.
To give you a little update on your request, you'll see there are two betas up, the most recent one the recipes won't raise errors in the log, however the loot tables still do, it doesn't cause any problem for gameplay but not nice in the logs.
I have a plan to fix that part, I'll have to stop using loot tables it seems and do it old school, but I shall probably have a proper 'release' level release tomorrow, in the meantime I hope you like the latest Beta, I think the Oh The Biomes You'll Go chairs look pretty good.
How do we disable the BOP integration on the dedicated server? I only see the client config.
In reply to ProsperCraft:
Disabling it in the configuration file on the server ought to work, if it doesn't then it maybe a bug, if so I'll try looking at it tomorrow, which version of Minecraft?
