An addon for Immersive Engineering. Some features, like the EU-transmitting IE-style wires the mod is named after, will only be enabled if IC2 is installed. All devices added by IndustrialWires can run of IC2 EU as well as ForgeEnergy/RF.
The features can be split into to groups: IC2 compat and HV/electronics stuff
- IC2 compat:
- IE style wires that transmit EU. Check the manual for recipes
- Lossy converters between IE's rotational energy (windmills, watermills) and IC2's kinetic energy
- HV/electronics:
- Control panels
- Jacob's ladders. They don't do anything useful apart from looking nice (Shown in the control panel video)
- Marx generators. Ore processing using lightning/high voltage. You need to do a little bit of math to use it for that, but you can still use it to kill things/people without doing any!
The textures and models are partially modified IE resources and partially made by C8H8O4 or me.
IC2 seems to still be required for 1.10.2 but not 1.12.2. Do you plan to change that?
I have a minimal setup: Minecraft 1.10.2, CraftGuide 1.7.1.1, JEI 3.14.7.420, Immersive Engineering 0.10-61, and Industrial Wires 1.4-18. Startup halts with "Industrial Wires is missing mods it depends on ... etc ... IC2 : any".
Leaving out IC2 with 1.12.2 causes no problems for me.

I don't see a modpack policy. I'd like to use your mod as (frankly a big portion) of a tech heavy lovecraft themed mod pack with the Marx Generator being the endgame ore processing solution.

In the 1.10.2 version how do you make the base control panel to start working on it, the only video ive found shows an unfinished control panel, however i do not have that in the NEI nor can i make it via the shown recipe?
Can't seem to form the Marx generator... Followed the image in the manual. But it won't form nomatter where i hit it with the hammer

oke found what i was looking for. Was the Marx Generator.
Is there a way to power a bunch of Luminators(IC2) in series with Industrial Wires? I attempted to wire them with a bunch of relays, but that did not seem to work and the connector only takes one connection so that won't work for a series connection.
Help.
Wires can`'t be crafted for me.

Problem fixed by installing IndustrialWires-1.5-15 but 1.6-x versions don't work for me.

Hiya, using the latest 1.12 release of the mod, my FPS drops dramatically when I'm looking at a constructed control panel. Is this a known issue/is there anything I can do to stop it? Thanks.

Any chance you could add Tech Reborn support? Also not make it "require" IC2. Would be cool to use this mod in the pack i am working on.
