About
Ever wanted to exchange / swap between blocks rather than manually breaking and placing blocks? Well, now you have a solution!
Exchangers is a tech-themed gadget mod inspired by the Block Exchangers from EnderTech (EnderTech is a Thermal Expansion-based tech mod for 1.7.10 and it has been discontinued, this mod is not using any source codes from EnderTech, everything has been rewritten from the ground up with additional features that are not present in EnderTech's version of Block Exchangers).
This mod offers many different block Exchangers, from vanilla-based (uses durability), to supporting the 4 major tech mods (Ender IO (and Ender IO Endergy), Thermal Expansion, Mekanism and Immersive Engineering)! Support for other mods will be added as per request.
As for balancing purpose to provide a linear progression, all of the Exchangers are tier-based, you have to upgrade from the previous tier to a higher tier (recipes configurable in config) in order to obtain a better Exchanger!
This mod is currently available for 1.10 - 1.12, 1.16, 1.18 - 1.20!
This mod is only available for Forge, other mod loaders like Fabric are not supported and will likely never be supported, mainly due to Forge being the dominant modding API for Minecraft, and it is extremely time consuming to maintain multiple different mod loader versions of a single mod. I have a full time job as a computer engineer and I do not have the time for this.
Note: From version 2.1 to 2.9 of Exchangers for 1.12, Redstone Flux is required if you want to use any Energy-based Exchangers
Starting from version 2.10 of Exchangers for 1.12, we've fully migrated to use Forge Energy, thus the Redstone Flux mod is no longer needed
Starting from version 2.9 of Exchangers for 1.12, GunpowderLib is a required dependency for this mod.
Exchanger Variants
- 11 different vanilla exchanger variants (uses durability):
Wood, Stone, Gold, Iron, Diamond, Emerald, Obsidian and End
Copper, Amethyst and Netherite variants were also added in later versions of Exchangers

End Steel Exchanger is 1.12+ exclusive

There's also support for Holding enchant (increases Energy capacity) and Unbreaking enchant (reduces chance of consuming Energy per block) for Energy-based Exchangers
