I'm still around, life has been hectic delaying the update by quite a bit. That said 1.7.10-1.1.10 has just been released with may bug fixes for all. Additionally a mc1.10.x version is in the works but may be a bit as I work through the new model system.

This mod as is aimed at adding a verity of inventories to the game.
Current additions:
- Improved Chests, Lockers & Cabinets

Known Issues:
- A crash or other odd behavior can occur when scanning a chest/locker with the Thaumometer with the Witching Gadgets mod installed when it's "Enable transmutations" config option is enabled. This is a known issue on their side and there is nothing I can do about this.

I'm going to need more detail as these issues are too vague to replicate
assembler next to double wooden chest doesn't always work, it can flat refuse to craft no matter what the block update state or the redstone state(then sometimes it does work when you update them, but as soon as it finishes crafting it will not craft using anything new).
Things i have tried;
with all ingredients in vanilla double chest then adding extra none container based ingredients into the assemblers inventory. it will craft then. (perhaps it is only trying to pull stuff in one half of the chest?)
redstone control flipping sometimes this will have the damn thing craft when in supposedly unrelated redstone control states. like ignore redstone. It will not keep crafting after you refill the chest.
Placing blocks next to both the assembler and first part of the adjacent chest seems to let it craft until it runs out of ingredients(not all the time), It will not keep crafting after you refill the chest.
I think you managed to introduce these bugs after putting those extra redstone buttons in the gui.
The double chest issue should be fixed with 1.1.8
I still have not been able to replicate your redstone issues. What are you using to transmit the signal?
tried both a lever on the side and bottom of the block, then tried a red power 2 timer. (edit projectred)
Also had a crash when using a iron and spruce double chest and attempting to spawn items in using NEI into your chest with a full player inventory.
Also tell the author of the regrowth pack to update. When you stabilize the mod. phoenix needs someone to kick him in the update keister. Best if it comes from a mod author.
Okay I tried those setups and cannot duplicate those redstone issues.
Keep in mind there is both an always active mode(the usual ignore redstone) and a never active mode(the exclimation mark) not just an ignore redstone mode. As well there is the pulsed mode(the repeater) which works once per pulse (It should be noted when updating to the new redstone system if the assembler was on ignore redstone it is now on pulsed as that is how ignored worked before that update).
As far as the NEI crash goes that seems to be on NEI's side as I've had it happen with a few other items as well.
right well i managed to get my cake factory working, I don't want to mess with it. When I update and need another something autocrafted I will see about trying to find the exact steps.
Please add Dolly-support or let the chests retain their inventory if broken. Moving these chests is a real pain at the moment.
I just submitted a pull request to the JABBA repo so the rest is on JABBA's side.
In the mean time Inventory Tools has a dolly that can move my chests and transfer their inventories (#shameless plug)

Sadly the pack I'm currently using (Regrowth) doesn't have Inventory tools included.
In that case I might suggest Mekanism's Card Board Box as that works with many things the Jabba dolly dose not. (And I happen to know this includes my chests).
I noticed only partial compatibility of crafting recipes for:
CraftGuide-1.6.8.2
zCraftingManager 0.7.5
Is there anything I can do on my end to tweak this? Can I create a duplicate recipe using CraftingManager without causing error?
@CraftGuide - As far as this is concerned I will need to add custom support for crafting guide, I'm in for a busy weekend so this my end up being delayed till next week
@CraftingManager - Honestly due to the number of custom recipe handlers in my mod I am not currently supporting other mods that mess with my recipes. While it should not cause any crashes from adding/removing recipes with such mods you will be limited to what functionality and flexibility they are limited to (likely being stuck with White Stone Oak Mkx chests unless they are painted and things of that nature).
If you want to modify recipe I highly suggest using my configs as opposed to a third party system due to the way the crafting works.

Set one chest ingots, set others ores, nothing else.
Seems kinda random. But 30 ingots deleted already. Just deleted another 6.
Just noted it deleted all my ores. It's like when it tries to move them from same chest to same chest, boom gone. Double wide chests. sorting only set on 1 side.
If you set the chest on the right with a sort parameter, but the chest on the left doesn't have one. You delete the items you try and sort. (Double chests)
Cool mod.
My suggestion is to consider adding the following
1) If the amount of space would require a scrollbar, use pages instead. With little arrows on the top to change the page.
2) Consider adding a filter/search bar similar to NEI's
3) Consider having an upgrade that aggregates items with a count, for example if you have 256 cobblestone, just show one slot of cobblestone with the number '256' near the bottom corner of the cobblestone icon. Since that's equivalent to 4 stacks, just grey out 3 of the slots near the bottom and shift any items away from those slots to a free slot.
It says there's support for the various wood in chisel 2, but when i tried to make a chest using one and it wouldn't work.
I love the mod. It solves all of my storage issues. However, I feel like it would be more convenient to display all of the storage slots instead of a scroll bar, much like Iron Chests. And also dolly support would be great. But other than that, great job

Great looking mod and I'm very excited to use it in conjunction with both Bibliocraft and Storage Drawers. Two things that would be nice additions if you get some time:
1) A "Locker" variant that merges side to side for creating cupboard spaces would be perfect for kitchens and similar spaces.
2) If these cupboards were added to the mod then counter tops for them would be nice allowing the cupboard inventory to interact with "furnace" and "crafting station" counter tops placed above them.
