Energy Control is a remastered version of original Nuclear Control.Nuclear Control original threadNuclear Control original wikiPlease help me with testing and new ideas.I plan to have versions for 1.7.10, 1.10 and 1.12 with IC2 Experimental/Classic and GregTech support.Group in Discord
My God, just do not throw this mod it is very necessary!
In reply to daniel_fridrich:I see that it is not. Nobody wants to spend his own time and write a post about found bugs. I played with 1.12.2-0.0.9 for two hours and found several bugs.More than 300 downloads and no posts about bugs at all. But they are. For example, create 2x2 panel and remove panel block. Extenders still show screen parts. This is a bug and it is very easy to write two lines here or in discord... No new ideas, no posts about "I want to add Spanish, German, ... translation", no activity at all.I have a lot of ideas how to improve this mod, but I will not work on them until I see that people need them. I will just fix bugs and postpone any other development.
In reply to Zuxelus:
That's a very poor outlook on how to handle your mod, you're assuming people have even found these bugs that you've found, and a lack of active ideas doesn't mean it's not a dead in the water mod. What you should focus on is how actively downloaded and used the mod is, because that's what matters when it comes to how much people like the mod. If a bug is found, then you should fix it whether or not you found it or someone else found it, it's still a bug. Development should be about your own passion for the mod. If you have ideas, implement them, see how they work. Or post the ideas and in the description and see the feedback if you want to see if there's a desire for it. Otherwise, just do it cause you want to.

I agree I’ve been using an old version that you created last month on my server for the past three weeks! It’s been awesome and keeps my nuclear reactor at the right temperature! I don’t have internet here that often while deployed!
Great mod! Btw, something that I found on here that the first picture ("Computer Craft") is actually OpenComputers (from the top saying "OpenOS", which is OC's default operating system)
Anyways, cool mod.
In reply to almaember1098:
Yes, it is. I used that image just as storage. I will update images after next 1.12.2 build.
You sir are awesome
Ok so how do I make an array card exactly? I've found the assembly kit but can't figure out what to do. The original wiki doesn't seem to have this information. Thanks in advance :)
In reply to Forge_User_41112126:
Just put two liquid or generator cards in crafting slots.
Ah this wasn’t working yesterday but trying this again today it does. Must have done something wrong. Thanks bud
ey ! Found a bug in the latest release with advanced panel :
Another problem : if I rotate the panel bottomside no text appears anymore
In reply to neox95_:
OMG. I have compiled not the last version. 3 days and nobody told me about this. Thank you.I will upload new version with fix tomorrow because I need to finish current changes.
Will the mod be compatible with the reactor from IC2 Classic?
In reply to petagast:
Standard small reactor from IC2 Classic should work even in current (0.0.9) version. In next version will add other reactors (steam, etc.).
Thank you very much for giving a new life to this mod! And purely on their own enthusiasm and initiative took up such a difficult job , because in fact it was necessary to rewrite the entire mod .
Integration with OpenComputers. I do it like it is done for IC2 blocks. Just a component using Adapter block. Is it enough just to get values?
Or you need to be able to manage info panel from computer (change showing info from computer, connect info_panel directly with cable)?
Will this allow ComputerCraft Tweaked to also work and wrap the block as a peripheral? It uses lua much like opencomputers. Just curious.
In reply to Mfrojd:
I did integration with OpenComputers only. Will add CC: Tweaked support in next build. So yes, in next build you will be able to work with EC blocks as a peripheral.
Wow! This is impressive! After I get back from deployment, I would love to assist you in modding/creating mods. I have always wanted to get into mod development. I have two engineering degrees and a decent amount of coding experience. No experience in mod development though. Let me know if you would like assistance in any other projects. I would be willing to help this coming Fall 2020!
You can add me in Discord and try to create your own child mod for Energy Control. On GitHub there are steps how to setup the environment. I can help you with this.First of all you need to understand how mod development is going on in Minecraft.I think you can have a look at my example child mod with Furnace and after create your own cards and kits.
