Allows you to completely change the minecraft splash screen.
Provides many config options, so you can customize the loading screen to your liking.
Needs AutoConfig and Cloth Config to create the config.
Just look at the examples below:

That's what I had done before, yes. Nothing special really. I don't much care for this anymore though ever since I discovered that the minecraft options have an option for dark-mode splash screen anyway, that's what I previously used this mod for and that pretty much annulled my need for it :P
Do the background file need to be in a resourcepack?
In reply to IamADarkStar:
no, just put it into the config folder
In reply to IamADarkStar:
Actually, Minecraft loading screen doesn't recognize resource packs.
Just drag it to .minecraft/config/customsplashscreen and edit the config file
Is there anyway to randomize multiple background.png files? For the purpose of different backgrounds every time the splash screen shows?
Planning on a 1.18 update?
it works with images, does it work with gifs?
I created a forge port for this mod: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/modern-loading-screen
I wanted to be able to change the logo colour, could this be done in a future update?
Hi. I'm currently trying to use this mod to replace the new Mojang logo with the old 1.12 and before logo on the splash screen. I've got the image working, but when I launch the game, the black text keeps going transparent for no reason. The red dragon thing is fine, though. Any ideas on how to fix this? Here's the logo:
In reply to LoneStar_GamingOfficial:
Did you figure it out? I too am a "old mojang logo enjoyer".
Ps, the 1.17 version no longer requires Auto Config as it's now included with Cloth Config
Handy mod I like it but is it possible to display animated splash screen and will this apply to loading screens (going to the dimension for example) if yes is it possible to make it different every time so I could display tip messages on them ?
a tip for anyone else having trouble making it do anything: you have to restart the game for changes to take effect, at least in my case
In reply to davthenub:
Yes, that's right. When you're changing anything related to the images, you'll have to restart the game. Unfortunately, there's no way around it, since I had to load the textures in a special way, so they are loaded before the game has even started.
how do I remove the loading bar
crash on 21w13a, will there come a fix?
In reply to LufatZ:
I plan on updating my mods to the latest snapshots, once iris is compatible with them. I just can't play without shaders.
This one will be a bit tricky, however, since for some reason Mojang made the splash screen shader based in 21w10a.

Low-end PC users:
I just can't play with shaders.
Iris is meant to have better performance than optifine, so maybe low end users could play with shaders? (Low end shaders anyway)
