Hello, I want to introduce my new (and first) Mod: Cruelar's Triforcemod.
The Mod is based on the "The Legend of Zelda"-games and includes cool stuff out of the games, like the Mastersword, Rupees, Ganon and much more.
This mod features Weapons like the Mastersword, Adventure Map Features like locks and keys, the lens of truth and strong enemies like lynels.
In future versions there will be dungeons that spawn in the overworld but right now most of the stuff included is only semi-working/semi useful.
Currently it mainly focuses on adventure map building as some mobs I made are a bit over powered, but in the next few Updates I'll try to balance that.
Some stuff is still not functioning properly but I'm working on that.
I mainly worked on stuff out of the newest Zelda-game ("The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild") yet, but I will add also things from other Zelda-games.
I'm also working on a Resourcepack for the mod, because this is easier than adding all the Stuff that already is in Minecraft, so I hope you can get it soon.
If you have any ideas, suggestions, or wishes just write them here.
If you have bugs, even if its in an older version of the mod, report them here.
If you want to help, look at my topics in the Modder Support Forum or post textures, you think you could make better than they are in the mod.
You can use Baubles with the mod to get some more Items which will improve your stats in later updates.

Late Febuary 2021 finish and polish 1.14 version and work on a basic wiki
June or July 2021 1.16 (1.15 will be skipped for now, might come back to it later)
I sadly can't guarantee I'll be able to finish everything in time as ongoing problems continue to consume the time I'd need to refine this project

Zelda Sword Skills is probably the best Zelda mod out there and is locked in 1.7.10, so maybe he means that?

Nah, I didn't find time to look up some videos about it. I don't want to download it as 9minecraft is known to ship mal- and spyware. Also curseforge and planetminecraft are the sites were the authors get most out of the downloads of their work. StopModReposts - Stopping Mod Reposting

Not implemented yet, will probably be related to the triforce in some way, currently a bit struggling, my license for my IDE has run out and they aren't cheap. Sadly this means 1.14 release will be released later than expected (I just needed inventories to work). I'll keep you all updated.

Could you submit your error report with the generated crash report to the issues page please. The crash report could hint at the cause for the error (I expect something like a NullPointerException or similiar). Without it, I'll have to guess where it breaks which will need time

Just curious, how do you get the scales in survival? (in 1.12.2 btw)

If you're searching for the other scales in the future, the farosh scale has a chance to be found in the chest of jungle temples, the dinraal scale can be found in nether fortresses and the naydra scale can be found in desert pyramids. They all have a weight of 10 so if you're familiar with the loottables you can get a feeling for how rare they are. These values are subject to change based on feedback I get and eventually the scales will move to the dragons, as soon as I implemented them.

As the author already has a version out for 1.16 it seems like he is using a different framework than I do making his code near useless for me. Thanks for the suggestion though, appreciate the interest.
As an update for 1.12: The Clawshot is almost working as intended so I'll spend some time making some blocks for it to attach to and some missing textures for it. Massive Thanks here to yyonne the author of the Grappling Hook Mod who allowed me to study and use his code and to Wolfkann who pointed out that the mod exists.
For 1.14: Inventories and TileEntities won't work until I took some time to study the new system for them, which with my final exams right now I won't have the time for. Also the Pedestal of time needs a new model as Forges OBJLoader system broke somewhere and I haven't yet figured out what changed (Also as the only OBJModel I use it kinda seems out of place especially as I made the flame pedestals using json). So if you really need a 1.14 version right now I can't promise that everything has been fixed. Also the most recent additions haven't been ported yet.
