This mod allows vanilla torches to be placed on the ceiling (upside down). The mod supports the normal torch and the redstone torch. The redstone torch interacts with redstone like any other redstone torch that is attached to the same block would.
If you want this mod to work with a different mod's torches, please tell me and I'll see what I can do about adding support.

FYI, I've found an adverse interaction with Torchmaster mod. The Mega Torch from Torchmaster can be placed on ceilings using your mod like any other torch, but when placed that way it no longer prevents mob spawning. Maybe you and Xalcon might be able to figure out why not and develop a fix...?
In reply to alrekr_ironhand:
If anything, that would be my fault and not Xalcon's. It shouldn't happen, but I'll look into it. Which Minecraft version are you using?
In reply to bl4ckscor3:
MC 1.16.4
Forge 1.16.4-35.1.7
torchmaster-2.3.4-alpha.jar
ceilingtorch-1.16.2-v1.8.jar
In reply to alrekr_ironhand:
I just looked into it, and the first time I placed down a ceiling mega torch it didn't work. I then broke it, placed a normal mega torch below (which worked), then placed a ceiling mega torch again which then also worked. Afterwards I broke this one and placed another one a couple blocks over which also worked. Seems to be a little quirk in general. Nothing on Torchmaster's code changed that should cause other mega torches to not work.
In reply to bl4ckscor3:
Huh. Interesting. So it's intermittent....?
In reply to alrekr_ironhand:
It seems like it. I can't find a cause for it though. It works fine with Torchmaster 2.3.3, so I don't know.
Hey, are you planning on adding this to Fabric?
In reply to oakbricks:
No.
The mod doesn't work to an error seemingly caused by Bamboo Blocks. Verison is 1.16.1
In reply to tobydog2008:
I'm afraid I don't support old minor Minecraft versions anymore. There will not be a fix for this for MC 1.16.1. Additionally, whenever you report errors, crashes, etc., please provide a crash-report and log file. Without these, it can be very hard to track down an issue.
1.16.3?
In reply to Forge_User_37718546:
There are so few changes between Minecraft 1.16.2 and 1.16.3 that almost any mod that works in 1.16.2 works in 1.16.3 as well, including this one.
HeLLo!!! Will this still work in 1.16.1?
In reply to modeeves:
There's a file that is explicitly for 1.16.1.
Would you consider adding support for Rainbow Stone's torches. please? This is a very useful mod to combine with that. :)
In reply to Saxabock_Nonimur:
Indeed. I have added it to my list and will be looking to add support when I can find the time!
EDIT: I have looked into adding support, and, despite trying a lot of things, have not managed to make the different colored stone dusts (not) activate based on the ceiling torch that is next to them. Sorry to disappoint you, but I will not add support for this mod.
In reply to bl4ckscor3:
Thanks for trying! <3
It would be great if you could add support for Torch Bandolier:

In reply to MatthewGamble:
Ok, I took note of this and will look into adding support when I can find the time.
