CC: Tweaked is a fork of ComputerCraft, adding programmable computers, turtles and more to Minecraft.
Fabric support is provided by the CC: Restitched project!
What?
I'm not sure what that is [...] I don't know where that came from.

ComputerCraft has always held a fond place in my heart: it's the mod which really got me into Minecraft, and it's the mod which has kept me playing it for many years. However, development of the original mod has slowed, as the original developers have had less time to work on the mod, and moved onto other projects and commitments.
CC:Tweaked (or CC:T for short) is an attempt to continue ComputerCraft's legacy. It's not intended to be a competitor to CC, nor do I want to take it in a vastly different direction to the original mod. Instead, CC:T focuses on making the ComputerCraft experience as solid as possible, ironing out any wrinkles that may have developed over time.
Features
CC: Tweaked contains all the features of the latest version of ComputerCraft, as well as numerous fixes, performance improvements and several nifty additions. I'd recommend checking out the releases page to see the full set of changes, but here's a couple of the more interesting additions:
- Improvements to the
http
library, including websockets, support for other HTTP methods (PUT
,DELETE
, etc...) and configurable limits on HTTP usage. - Full-block wired modems, allowing one to wrap non-solid peripherals (such as turtles or chests).
- Pocket computers can be held like maps, allowing you to view the screen without entering a GUI.
- Printed pages and books can be placed in item frames and held like maps.
- Several profiling and administration tools for server owners, via the
/computercraft
command. This allows operators to track which computers are hogging resources, turn on and shutdown multiple computers at once and interact with computers remotely. - Closer emulation of standard Lua, adding the
debug
andio
libraries. This also enables seeking within binary files, meaning you don't need to read large files into memory. - Allow running multiple computers on multiple threads, reducing latency on worlds with many computers.
In reply to xodias_:
fml version errors with the 1.16.2 and 1.16.3, so far incompatible with 1.16.1
I'm playing this pack, but I can't seem to find the config file for CC:T. There is a file named computercraft-client.toml, but it only has two variables, monitor_renderer and monitor_distance. Is there supposed to be another config file or is it located outside the config folder?
In reply to Forge_User_26666240:
config files are not just kept in the main minecraft install folder but also inside the save folder, inside your world folder then inside a folder called serverconfig will be the config for mods.
I'll just drop this here, my flakey new 1.16.4 CC:Tweaked-centric beta modpack is up now: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/cc-challenge
hmm i dont get it the newest version od CC is 1.12 but the oldest version of CC tweaked is 1.14
There are 1.12 versions, but sadly CurseForge doesn't display them on the sidebar.
I used lua before, is there a documentation or whatever for the thing?
can't seem to connect CC: tweaked computers up to IC2 MFSU's like you could with the original computercraft.
ComputerCraft has never allowed connecting to MFSUs on its own, its always been done by another mod. In the past, that used to be OpenPeripheral, but Plethora is the standard for 1.12.2.
In reply to SquidDev:
Is there something like Plethora in 1.16.x?
What can be done about this?
Hey, first of all thank you for continuing this awesome mod.
I wanted to ask if you could (if not implemented yet) make the turtles load the chunk they are in and maybe even those right next to the one?
seems cc:tweaked really doesnt like shaders, it messes up a lot of things when a monitor is connected to a computer https://gfycat.com/rigidhairyequestrian
is this at all fixable? happens with most shaderpacks on 1.12.2.
I think people have helped on Discord, but the best thing to do is try different monitor renderers in the config GUI and see if any works.

Hello, I have a suggestion, maybe you could try adding the blocks/items from Peripheral++ to CC: Tweaked? There are some blocks from that mod I would really enjoy with these as well, but Peripheral++ is not supported for version 1.15.2.
Is there a way to upgrade an existing normal computer/turtle into an advanced one? If not, may I offer it as a suggestion?UPDATE: Never mind I found the recipe!
I have noticed that turtle textures disappear when using OptiFine. I am using the latest version of everything.
Minecraft Version - 1.16.1
Forge - 32.0.108
OptiFine - 1.16.1 HD U G2
CC:Tweaked - 1.90.2
Happy to provide more details if needed. I added this here, opposed to the issues page. Since I am pretty sure it is more likely an Optifine issue and not yours.
Downgrade to Forge 32.0.98 for the time being - Forge recently changed some model loading stuff, and Optifine hasn't updated to handle it yet.
Does the 1.16 version have the treasure disks? I haven't found any in dungeons, and they're not in the creative menu.
Treasure disks have been gone for a looooong time - I think they first went in Minecraft 1.8. In 1.15, you can add them back via a data pack.
