Big Doors gives you larger wooden double-doors. At 3 blocks wide and 3 blocks tall, you can finally have a dramatic entrance on that wall with the odd block-length. Doors come in all six of the vanilla plank styles, based on the new 1.8 door designs.
Big Doors is an ADDON for MalisisDoors. You must install MalisisDoors and MalisisCore to use this mod.
Big Doors can be automated by powering them from their bottom-middle block. Power sources on any other edge will be ignored.
Doors can be crafted by placing two wooden oak doors above two wooden planks of the desired type on a crafting table.
Limitations: Like the Malisis Doors "Carriage Doors", these doors do not block arrow projectiles. I can't think of an easy fix, so keep this in mind if there are skeletons in the area.
these look rad :D thanks!
Hello, MC 1.7.10. Forge 1492, BigDoors 1.0.0, MalisisDoors 1.9.4, MalisisCore 0.12.7, DragonAPI 7f, GeoStrata 7e.
I found a conflict of your mod and DragonAPI, which subsequently causes a crash in startup in game.

If del BigDoors and normal start.
Not a Big Doors problem, actually. It's a conflict between Malisis Doors and Dragon API. Not sure on whose side, but I can't do anything to help that.
Big Doors triggers the problem because it loads before DragonAPI, which causes Malisis Doors to load before DragonAPI, and DragonAPI will crash because Malisis hooked some vanilla blocks before it.
You can work around it by renaming Big Doors to something like "ZeBigDoors", so it loads later.
this is strange because malisis door loaded to dragonapi.
I don't know that the order listed in the log can be trusted in this case. You need to look at the log starting with the game launch. After a few dozen lines of initialization, you'll see some output from core mods hooking various parts of the game. The presence or absence of Big Doors will affect the order that Malisis and Dragon run. Forge appears to prefer processing mods in alphabetical order, and processes dependency chains as it goes.
Exactly what I was looking for! Awesome work! :)
Nice! :)
Someone just mentioned this mod to, good work :)
I wonder why you didn't tell me you did that. If only I could update my MCF thread, I would add a link to your mod in it.
Hey, sorry about that. I meant to go make a comment and probably got side-tracked. Thanks for the open framework - it saved me a tremendous amount of time.
The oak and jungle doors look a bit strange, you may want to work on improving those textures.
Any particular details about either of those? I thought the oak was an okay extension of the base oak door. The jungle ... well I think the base jungle door is crap to begin with, so I tried to work with what I had.
Here, I redid those two textures and the item sprites:
Here they are, feel free to use them:

Looks pretty good. I did create an alternate jungle door earlier. Here it is for reference.
That's nice too.
I kinda miss the planks though.
very nice, games lacks since ages a 3 x 3 Door
Awsome! I'm downloading this immediately, I love the fact that it fills an odd number of blocks.
Does this mod support the custom doors creator with Malisis's Doors.
No. They have more in common with the carriage door.
Do you plan on adding that feature?
The Door Factory is very specific to 1x2 doors. I'd need to create a new factory entirely, and then I'm not sure how I'd actually render such oddly-shaped doors from block textures. So no, it's not something I plan on adding.
Finally, somebody makes this mod! I need this in my life!
