A friendly neighborhood villager named Bailey has decided to set up shop and offer five new quests every day. Hunting zombies? Let Bailey know about it, and she'll reward you with a bunch of experience points. Smelting gold ingots? Bring them to her and she'll offer you diamonds in return.
This mod provides small-scale quests that are changed out every Earth day. In order to accept the quests, you must first locate Bailey, a new NPC that is found in villages. After interacting with her, she will present you with the list of today’s quests from which you can accept ones you are interested in. She will also collect any items you have gathered for quests and trade them out for your reward. Each day, she'll offer five new quests from the Quest List. As you accept them, complete them, or abandon them all your progress gets synced with MinecraftDailies.com where you can keep track of yourself, your friends, and your acquaintances. Here's Paul for example.
Find Bailey's Shop in a village to get access to the quests.
Interacting with Bailey lets you accept quests, abandon quests, turn in items, and collect rewards. If you've got access to spawn eggs, there's one for Bailey too.
As you go about your business, check quest progress on the inventory screen.
Or online.
Bailey can look a bit different depending on what biome she's from, but she's always ready to dish out some quests.

This is a neat idea, but I'm wondering if you can disable the server communication for those of us that don't want extra outside communications?
Also does the daily quest UI cover over the JEI interface?
We've got some backup quests that get put in the mix if communications with the web service aren't available, but we don't currently have a config for disabling those communications. I'll definitely consider it, but having the quests retrieved from the service means we can add in new quests or balance existing ones without people having to download an update.
I don't think we've tested the UI side-by-side with JEI, but I'll ask my friends and update this post if they know one way or the other.
Thanks for tryin it out :)
To address the offline support, we're thinking we'll start packaging up the latest quest definitions in the mod releases. And your UI suggestion is exactly what we've got in mind for making the UI more compatible with other mods. I hear you about the server communications. What we're aiming to do with this mod and the service, though, is just a bit different from user-configurable quests.
I agree with Mokah above - would love to have this mod content, but will not be using this as long as it's communicating with the internet for the quests.
Will be addressed by https://github.com/ToroCraft/Dailies/issues/16
Cool mod, cool idea. Mods with quests very low, the more on new version MC. Keep working and we support you! ru_RU.lang - http://pastebin.com/p7G21tS6
Thanks, man! That's awesome to get the achievements translated into Russian.
