A friendly neighborhood villager named Bailey has decided to set up shop and offer five new quests every day. Hunting zombies? Let Bailey know about it, and she'll reward you with a bunch of experience points. Smelting gold ingots? Bring them to her and she'll offer you diamonds in return.
This mod provides small-scale quests that are changed out every Earth day. In order to accept the quests, you must first locate Bailey, a new NPC that is found in villages. After interacting with her, she will present you with the list of today’s quests from which you can accept ones you are interested in. She will also collect any items you have gathered for quests and trade them out for your reward. Each day, she'll offer five new quests from the Quest List. As you accept them, complete them, or abandon them all your progress gets synced with MinecraftDailies.com where you can keep track of yourself, your friends, and your acquaintances. Here's Paul for example.
Find Bailey's Shop in a village to get access to the quests.
Interacting with Bailey lets you accept quests, abandon quests, turn in items, and collect rewards. If you've got access to spawn eggs, there's one for Bailey too.
As you go about your business, check quest progress on the inventory screen.
Or online.
Bailey can look a bit different depending on what biome she's from, but she's always ready to dish out some quests.
Visit MinecraftDailies.com to check out today's quests, discover new quests, and track player stats. Visit the ToroCraft Dailies GitHub and the MinecraftDailies GitHub to keep track of development progress.
Please feel free to include Bailey's Dailies in any modpack. No need to ask for permission.
I just accepted Ghastly Fear, abandoned it (or an identical quest. I had 2) while interacting with Bailey, but it didn't go back to the left side of the interface as I thought it would. Does it have to be the exact same quest (not just identical in name but in ID)? Because that probably shouldn't be.... even if you return (return as in you abandon a quest that you accepted earlier that day, such that it goes back into Bailey's offers) a quest that has progress on it, you're not gaining anything by doing so, since you lose that progress
also, if you agree with this, I would greatly appreciate if you would un-abandon Ghastly Fear for me. Minecraft username is Twisted_Code. If I already have 10 quests are not willing to temporarily allow me to have 11, just put it back in the quest offers or something. I barely need the diamonds anyway, so this is more a matter of "I want justice" than actually needing what I'd be getting
This is awesome, something I've just been craving for!
Just one small question: After I install the mod, would Bailey show up in those loaded areas(chunks), say one village I've visited?
Thx:)

Is there a way to create custom quests, and bypass the whole website tracking stuff?
Maybe you should rework dailies that require to mine minerals? They do not regenerate like crops or enemies so they can't be a good daily quest... Also we can get them right after we gather needed resources so we can't gather them again to complete the mission.
Just turned in 32 pumpkins and my reward an Enchanted Book.... so what do you do with a blank enchanted book hmm......
I really would like to know what could i possible use it for or did i get a totally borked reward?

First of all, I want to said, I really enjoy the mod.
I was wondering if there is a way to reset the dailies for new worlds?
I play 3 or 4 different world at the same time and all the dailies are the same for all the worlds to include the progress on each world.

I think my favorite feature of this mod and its related service might be the fact I can check everything about my current quests and currently available quests on any web browser. I just wish I knew the service's "reset" time, i.e. what time new quests become available. I don't see it on the website anywhere.

Is there a way to change the display location of quests when your inventory is open? I would love to have the quests display while also having JEI open.
Yeah this is an ongoing task I've wanted to address for a while now. There's an option to enable/disable the display of the quests in the item inventory screen, but we either need more granular configuration or to just put the quests on their own screen.... or both. In any case, here's the GitHub issue tracking what we're talking about: https://github.com/ToroCraft/Dailies/issues/39
