Bad Wither No Cookie - Reloaded!
Fabric Versions REQUIRE FABRIC API & CLOTH CONFIG
As of 1.18.2, the mod no longer runs on the server and is client sided.
A lightweight universal mod to silence these nasty world wide broadcast sounds:
- Wither
- End Dragon
- Thunder
- and now any sound that any mod makes!
This is especially handy on servers where spawners and/or farms are in use for these mobs. This mod can be installed on a client even if it is not on the server.
Features
Block wither spawn, end dragon death, lightning, thunder, other sounds you care to configure
[1.16.1+] also blocks wither death, wander_trader and llama ambient sounds as well as wither death
Implemented Features:
- config file
- all sound types mentioned in this overview disabled by default
- console output when a sound is silenced also silenced by default
- command to see event sound names: /listen

Hey,
Any chance you could add a mcmod.info file? It's driving me insane not seeing it there :P

The newest version is listed on the Curse Launcher as a 1.12 file but requires 1.12.1
You need to change something in how Curse is seeing your files.

Reading the description I see that this is a "Client Side Mod", is useful on "Servers where spawners...", and "Can be installed on a client even if it is not on the server"...
And I speculate that it has no function on a server...
But I'm putting together a list of 1.12 mods so I can begin building a mod pack in the next big influx happens. Because of this I want to understand if I will be putting this in the client bundle, or if I can use it on the server and make it optional for clients.
So does it still work if on the server if not on the client? Or is it basically a client only mod?

With the FTB team sticking to 1.10.2, it would be great to see this be released for it.
Would probably see almost all their packs include this if it was available.
