You can disable the render of an item by it id, for example: wooden_pickaxe.
You can also disable the render for a type of tool.. for example: disablePickaxes disable the render for all pickaxes
If oyu download my modpack, Another Quality Modpack 2, you will see how BackTools is not compatible with Trinkets. When equipping anything on atrinket slot like a hat, or a Wing from winged, the player model turns into a mess, floating hats, hats behind back, wings above head.

I’ll try to fix it as soon as possible.
The same thing happens with previous versions of the mod?
In reply to DaniK1ngRD:
tbh havent tried other versions

I released a new update. This time it was quite big, it adds the rest of the features the mod was missing from the forge mod and fixes some bugs.
Could you test it and see if the same problem persists ?. It looks like it's more like an issue from Trinkets because the same was happening with the mod called "BackSlots". Please let me now how it goes...
Thank-you! I've been looking for this, does it work on servers? I guess I'll find out but if so it's gonna make PVP more fun.

Hi!
I was waiting for this new updating to reply you. Yes, it is now a client side only mod, (it is not needed in server), and other clients should be able to see
your render if they have the mod installed too.
Isn't this already a mod called BackSlot?
In reply to RobertHatterson:
They are both similar mods, but the main difference is that BackSlots mod adds 2 new slots to the player inventory and it renders the item you put there.
BackTools instead, renders the previous tool the player was using, and it doesn't rely on a player slot, and you can also disable each tool you don't like in the config file.
