Aquaculture 2 (1.14.4+)
Aquaculture 2 expands the fishing system in Minecraft with over 30 new fish to catch either with a rod (any modded or vanilla rod will work!) or found swimming in the wild. It also adds a series of new rods which allows you to equip hooks & bait for additional functionality. Customized fishing Line & bobbers are also available to make your fishing rod truly unique. Modifiers & customization items can be applied in the Tackle Box, which also allows you to store additional hooks, bait, line & bobbers.
Each biome type - even modded biomes - have new types of fish that'll spruce up your fishing experience and your world with fish mobs swimming around in rivers, ponds and the ocean! The fish caught can be turned into fish fillets, the amount of fish fillets will depend on the fish (Or weight, if the config option is enabled). Furthermore, you can get shiny new loot while fishing! (Including the fabled Neptunium tools or armor! (Configurable))

Aquaculture
Introduction
Aquaculture is an expansion of Minecraft's base fishing system. It allows you to catch over 30 new fish with a brand new series of rods and tools. Each biome has new types of fish with randomized weights that can be turned into fish filets and food, as well as shiny new loot you can catch while fishing! (Including the fabled Neptunium tools or armor!)
To begin your journey with Aquaculture you'll need to craft an Iron, Gold, or Diamond Fishing Rod (see below.)

**AQUACULTURE ONE**
I have been fishing for well over 6 real life hours for a halibut, found in taigas and tundras, and i have gotten every other fish besides this one. I have tried to find an arctic ocean upon thousands and thousands of blocks (moving, using nature compass (yes i do move the location of the compass as well.)) and i have yet to find a single one. my fishing rod enchantments are
-Luck of the sea IV
-Lure V
-Appealing II
-Short cast IV
-Double hook IV
-Unbreaking IV
PLEASE HELP ME. AM I UNLUCKY OR SHOULD I CHEAT IT IN.
Can hoppers pull worms out of the worm farm? I have it set up the same way as a composter but no worms
In reply to Sev_Brigstocke:
No it can´t, meant to only be possible to use it manually :) I think input with hoppers might potentially work
Please port to Fabric I love this mod but Forge is just too damn slow
Can I change the chance to get the sea king box?
In reply to x1759603258:
We don´t add something called "The Sea King Box", must be from another mod.
In reply to Girafi:
"How to fly as demonstration man?"
Great! I have always wanted a mod that add catfish. Exotic fish was not for 1.18....
Good job!
I'm trying to narrow down a crash issue, this only adds mobs to spawn lists right, it doesn't change chunk generation at all?
In reply to Sev_Brigstocke:
Correct, no generation of any kind. Only mob spawns.
what can you do with Algae other than eat it?
Apparently the neptunium pickaxe isn't counted as a pickaxe for amethyst, as mining an amethyst cluster even with fortune 3 only yields 2 shards every time, the same amount as if you mined it without a pickaxe.
good mod
Hey, I installed the latest 1.16.5 version of this mod on my server, but when I fish, I'm only getting vanilla fish. I'm using the iron rod, worms, iron hook, and a line. Anyone else have this problem?
Thank you for your hard work and dedication.
game is crashing when we scroll over the knives? crash says description rendering screen unrecognize tag
In reply to FullMetalMaster:
Please open a bug report on Github. Link at the top under "issues"
I'm having trouble crafting anything but the rods. Any ideas what might be causing this? I've got the mod running on a 1.12.2 server with forge, if that helps.
In reply to cassi_wolf:
1.12.2 and before is Aquaculture 1. Please read the description more carefully.
Hello! There's bug with Pacific Halibut and Atlantic Halibut; only their tails are visible. Please, could you repair this two fellas and update the mod?
