About
Are you a builder who uses hotbar saving a bunch in Minecraft? That's great, but Vanilla Minecraft only allows you to save up to 10 of these!
If you want more without having to install mods, this datapack is exactly what you're looking for. It allows you to save, load, and rename up to 100 extra hotbars. You probably won't use them all, but it's best to have too many than too little!
How to install & use
1. Download the most recent version of this datapack and Minecraft
2. Put the datapack (a folder named Hotsave) in your world's 'datapacks' folder or drag it in when creating a new world.
3. The datapack will load automatically when entering the world, you can also use /reload to load it immediately.
4. To get started, simply run /function help to view an introduction, the rest should be clear.
Other information
Each of the 100 available hotbars is stored by one marker entity in your world. This marker entity is summoned automatically. This also means that if you accidentally kill every entity in your world, the markers storing your Hotsaves will be destroyed and they will be replaced by new, empty markers. Killing every entity may result in your Hotsaves being lost!
Hotsaves are linked to the world, not the player. This means that if you save a hotbar, it is visible to everyone in the same world. This won't cause you to run out of Hotsaves though, since there are 100 to choose from.
I created this datapack as a request from my friend Reevz, with whom I'm recreating The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past in Minecraft.
