✨ New Features

  • Pets System (Major Addition)

    • Added 30+ Collectible Pets using Minecraft 1.21's Attribute.SCALE to create high-definition miniature mobs.

    • "Lil" Bosses & Mobs: Added Lil Warden, Lil Wither, Lil Iron Golem, Lil Ghast, Lil Blaze, Lil Creeper, and more.

    • Domestic Pets: Added all Cat variants, Parrots, Dogs, and Foxes (Red & Snow).

    • RPG Combat AI:

      • Pets have 100 HP and track health live in their nametags (e.g., Lil Warden 95❤).

      • Auto-Respawn: Pets respawn 10 seconds after death.

      • Smart Targeting: Pets attack Monsters in PvE and defend you against Players/Pets in PvP.

      • Projectile Support: Lil Skeletons, Blazes, Ghasts, Withers, and Snowmen shoot actual projectiles.

    • Safety & Utility:

      • Friendly Fire Disabled: You cannot hurt your pet, and your pet cannot hurt you.

      • Creeper Scaring: Pets actively scare away nearby Creepers.

      • Grief Prevention: Pet projectiles (Fireballs/Wither Skulls) do not break blocks or spread fire.

      • No Boss Bars: Boss pets (Wither, Warden) do not clutter the screen with boss bars.

    • Commands: Added /pets (Selector), /petshop (Shop), and /pets management.

  • Chat Channels

    • Staff Chat: Added /staffchat (alias /sc).

      • Permission: prisonvaults.staffchat.

      • Supports Toggle Mode (type /sc to switch) and Quick Message (/sc hello).

      • Distinct [SC] prefix.

    • Gang Chat: Added /gangchat (alias /gc).

      • Allows gang members to speak privately.

      • Distinct [GC] prefix.

🛠️ Improvements & Changes

  • Removed Lil Ender Dragon: Due to vanilla Minecraft limitations with hitbox scaling and AI, the Lil Ender Dragon has been replaced with the Lil Iron Golem and Lil Snowman to ensure stability.

  • Help Command: Updated /pvhelp to include all new Pet and Chat commands.

  • Permissions: Added prisonvaults.staffchat, prisonvaults.gangchat, prisonvaults.pets, and prisonvaults.petshop nodes.

  • Configuration: Added pets.yml to track player ownership.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where GangManager logic caused errors in Chat Channels.

  • Fixed projectile casting errors in PetListener.

  • Fixed an issue where Flying Pets (Bats, Ghasts, Blazes) would try to sit on the ground or sleep upside down; they now hover correctly at shoulder height.

Upgrading from v1.0.9:

  1. Drop the new jar into your plugins folder.

  2. Restart the server.

  3. The plugin will automatically generate pets.yml.

  4. Grant Permissions: Ensure your staff groups have prisonvaults.staffchat.
