- Compiled against 1.3.1-R1
- Breaking spawners: When breaking spawners, you will receive the spawner egg for that mob type.
- Placing spawners: Put a redstone torch where you want the spawner. While holding the egg, break the torch with the egg (left click)
While this has been in use for a very long time (from 1.1-R6), it is only been on 1.3.1 for as long as the RB has been available.
Spawners no longer are used as an item by players to avoid any future mechanic changes by Bukkit or Mojang.
