ChangeSilkTouch
Description
This mod allows you to change what blocks are able to be broken and collected with a SilkTouch tool.
By default, it makes SilkTouch tools work on monster spawners, (though they will not keep their monster type) but the configuration is very flexible, and can be used to make any type of block drop a stack of any other type of block if you so desire.
It is fairly simple, and I intend to keep it fairly simple. Feature requests for anything beyond the described functionality of this plugin will likely be denied. (But file bugs about anything that you see wrong!)
Note: This means that it is not getting permissions support.

Source
Source is available on github and a binary is available here.
@cppchriscpp
It doesn't unpack itself.. it just throws errors saying the directory isn't there.
And now your download link goes to travelportals.zipಠ_ಠ
@latexink
Yes, that's correct. It is unpacked from the base directory of the jar into the correct directory when you start it for the first time.
I may have forgotten to update the installation doc to deal with this; I'll update that now.
You packed the config.yml into the jar and not in a separate folder... there is no folder in the zip containing the plugin config folder. Pro.

I really want to keep this plugin simple; the only purpose I can see for permissions here is to prevent some users from getting some things while using silktouch tools. I do not like this idea. It is confusing, clunky from both a coder's point of vie as well as a user's, and in addition it is unfair in a rather rude manner. I don't care to be responsible for that.
If you have some other idea for permissions, I'm open to it, but I do not want to deal with limiting users in that way.
You could always write your own plugin, if you want to do that. If you want to branch something off of this however, I suggest waiting for a few more commits, as there is some interesting code going into all of my projects right now which is not yet complete. All of my plugins should see an update soon, and after that you'll be better off.
@cppchriscpp
If you don't have time to add features etc could I help work on this plugin? I can do permissions etc and I am very enthusiastic because I am lacking things to do at the moment.
@Zephedge
Please read the comment directly before yours.
Update: Okay, a binary's available. There's one hosted on my site available now, and it will be up on here as soon as it is approved.
Could we please get a compiled jar for your plugin, even if its still in the developmental stage? Not everyone knows about Git and compiling code themselves :)
@WillMillerAK
Sorry I did not respond earlier to this... for some reason I either didn't get the subscription email, or the subscription email got lost in a pile of things for TravelPortals.
The short answer: no. This is meant to be extremely simple, and I can say personally that I have zero use for that. I meant what I wrote in the description about no new features. I simply don't have time to maintain another plugin with all sorts of features like that.
The source is always available if you want to add such a thing yourself. (Repository tab)
Also, I'll see about getting a binary out for this during the weekend. No promises though; my schedule's been exceedingly full lately.
Permission support would be a very nice feature to add in an upcoming release.
