Check out the original Java mod that are responsible for this amazing concept.

Tinkers' Construct is a Java mod, first created by mDiyo, now recreated in Bedrock Edition! This add-on adds a variety of new tools and weapons to the game, along with some extra features.

This add-on currently adds 14 unique, customisable tools. While there are basic vanilla materials, like wood, stone and iron, there are now various unique ones, such as bone, flint, and even brand new alloys like manyullyn and pig iron, which are recreated to the best of my ability and maintained to be used in 1.20.50 and above!

License

The mods binaries, as well as its textures and code are licensed under the MIT License.

I am not, in any way, affiliated with the Java mod, so please don't disturb them with questions about this add-on.

Since v2.0, this add-on is in process of being overhauled, with several of its core features being redesigned, diverging from the original mod to provide a unique experience!

Modules

Each major section of this add-on is split into distinct modules to improve performance for lower-end devices, so you can pick which features you want.

These are seen as Behaviour Packs.

If using Tinkers' Smeltery, make sure it is above the others, to avoid breaking the progression chain.
Use Lite Tools if you are on a lower end device (or want a faster loading time); the only difference is that the tools are enchantable, instead of using custom modifiers.

The Tinkers' Construct [RP] is all you need for all the modules to work.
Tinkers' Glory Days is an optional overlay pack that brings back the classic 1.12 textures.

Differences

Materials and You, Tinker's Gadgetry, and Mighty Smelting are guide books to almost every aspect of this add-on, using custom models to show this.

There are currently 14 tools:

  • Pickaxe
  • Hatchet
  • Shovel
  • Mattock
  • Broadsword
  • Longsword
  • Rapier
  • Frypan
  • Hammer
  • Broad Axe
  • Excavator
  • Cleaver
  • Scythe
  • Shuriken

Tools currently can only made with completely one material, and are built around the 1.12.2 stats.

These materials include:

  • Wood
  • Stone
  • Flint
  • Bone
  • Copper
  • Iron
  • Bronze
  • Pig Iron
  • Alumite
  • Cobalt
  • Ardite
  • Manyullyn

These tools can have 2 modifiers max, including:

  • Diamond
  • Sharpness
  • Haste (mining tools only)
  • Beheading
  • Necrotic

Buckets of Molten Fluid instead hold 2 ingots of fluid, while the new Aluminium Cans hold 1 ingot of fluid.

These can be poured on to the Casting Table or in the Casting Basin.

Seared Melters have a max capacity of 3 ingots worth of fluid, with either a Seared Heater, Tank or Gauge to power it for 4 total smelts per fuel.

This iteration of Tinkers has Aluminium as one of the base materials for the smeltery, which is what you use to obtain the Smeltery Controller.

Currently, the Smeltery is exclusively a 3x3x1 structure and has a max capacity of 18 ingots worth of fluid at once, only holding one type of fluid, besides when making alloys.

To power the controller, interact with a Lava Bucket, allowing for 1000mb of fuel (10 smelts) or if the tank is on the same wall, the controller will be automatically filled.

With the recent introduction of Seared Channels, the Smeltery can use these, paired with Seared Faucets, to pour out molten fluid.

In terms of exploration, Slime Islands can be found across the ocean.

RTX compatibility

Recently, I’ve been tinkering (pun intended) with Minecraft RTX and the add-on should now have rtx support (can also be used with the Glory Days pack).

A neat bonus for Bedrock, if you're interested in this.

There are experimental features you must enable before loading this into a world.

I would of course not have done this without permission:
