Horde Of Mobs [Achievement Friendly]

This addon greatly increases the spawn rate of hostile mobs in your world across all dimensions, and it's even compatible with other addons that add new monsters! Each monster family mob that spawns in your world has a chance to duplicate!

New Command System:

  • Implemented native slash commands with the /hordeofmobs: prefix, replacing the old system for a more integrated and user-friendly experience
  • Commands available to all players without needing to enable cheats in the world
  • New /hordeofmobs:help command showing all available commands with mob examples by category
  • New /hordeofmobs:config command to view all current configuration in real time
  • New /hordeofmobs:reset command to restore all settings to factory defaults (clears blacklist and custom bosses)

New Full Clone Probability Control:

  • /hordeofmobs:firstclone <1-50> command to adjust first clone probability from 1% to 50%
  • /hordeofmobs:secondclone <1-50> command to adjust second clone probability from 1% to 50%
  • Default values: First clone 40% | Second clone 20%

New Mob Categories:

  • /hordeofmobs:monster <enable/disable> - Independent control for hostile monsters (zombie, skeleton, creeper, spider, etc.)
  • /hordeofmobs:raid <enable/disable> - Independent control for raid mobs (pillager, vindicator, ravager, witch)
  • /hordeofmobs:bossclones <0-10> command (0=disabled, 1-10=clones)
  • /hordeofmobs:animal <enable/disable> - New category including cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, rabbits and all animals from the "animal" family
  • /hordeofmobs:creature <enable/disable> - New category including villagers, wandering traders, golems, allays and all creatures from the "villager" and "wandering_trader" families

Clone Radius Control:

  • Normal mobs (monster/boss/animal/creature): spawn radius of 4-42 blocks from the nearest player
  • Raid mobs (illager/ravager/witch): extended radius of 172 blocks (fixed value, not configurable)

Limit Control:

  • /hordeofmobs:maxpertype <1-150> command to adjust maximum clones per mob type
  • Default value: 30

Blacklist System (Exclusion List):

  • /hordeofmobs:blacklistadd <id> - Add a mob to blacklist (won't clone)
  • /hordeofmobs:blacklistremove <id> - Remove a mob from blacklist
  • /hordeofmobs:blacklist - List all blacklisted mobs
  • Default blacklist includes: slime, magma_cube, creaking, herobrine, and all slime variants from various addons to prevent lag
  • Mob IDs must contain a colon ":" (e.g., minecraft:zombie)
  • Blacklist has maximum priority over all other rules

Custom Boss System:

  • /hordeofmobs:bossadd <id> - Add a custom mob ID to boss list (100% clone rate based on bossclones value)
  • /hordeofmobs:bossremove <id> - Remove a custom mob ID from boss list
  • /hordeofmobs:bosslist - Show all bosses (vanilla + addon + custom)
  • Custom bosses respect the same rules as vanilla bosses (100% clone rate)

Global Exclusions for Optimization:

  • Slimes and magma cubes are completely excluded from the clone system to prevent lag and excessive entity saturation in the world
  • All slime variants from addons (drowned_mobs, fusioned_mobs, nether_biomes_expansion, old_nether) are also excluded by default

Family-Based Detection System: 

  • Mobs from the "villager" family are automatically detected as CREATURES
  • Mobs from the "wandering_trader" family are automatically detected as CREATURES
  • Mobs from the "animal" family are automatically detected as ANIMALS
  • This family-based detection ensures maximum compatibility with external addons without needing to manually add specific IDs

New Language System:

  • Full support for English (default language) and Spanish
  • /hordeofmobs:language <es/en> command to change language according to each player's preference
  • Currently supports only English and Spanish languages
  • Each player can have their own preferred language, which is saved persistently

Persistence System:

  • All configuration saves automatically and persists after world reloads
  • Blacklist and custom boss lists are saved persistently
  • Language preferences are saved per player

Compatibility with Other Addons:

  • All monsters from the "monster" family, including those from other addons, will be able to clone when conditions are met
  • Family-based detection ensures compatibility with addons that properly implement the "monster", "animal", "villager", and "wandering_trader" families
  • Specific compatibility with: Alpha & Beta Legacy, Warden Secrets, Old Villagers Plus, Nether Biomes Expansion, Fusioned Mobs, Old Pigman Plus, Alycia's Dungeons, Catacysmical,  Dark Age Nizzare, Mutant Creatures, Evil Worst, Nico's Mobs, CocoaWarrior's Minecraft Redone
