Elemental Swords [v7.0.0] — "The Mastery Update"

Welcome to Version 7.0.0! This is a monumental update for Elemental Swords, transforming the addon from a simple weapon pack into a full-fledged RPG experience. We have introduced a brand-new leveling system, unlockable perks, and a dedicated UI to track your journey to becoming an Elemental Grandmaster.

NEW: Elemental Mastery (XP System)

Your journey no longer ends at Ascension. You now have a personal Elemental Mastery Level (Cap: Level 100).

  • Earn Magic XP: You now earn Mastery XP by casting sword abilities, performing combos, and executing Perfect Parries.
  • Live Tracking: Your current Mastery Level and XP are now seamlessly integrated into your live action bar while holding any magic sword.
  • The Mastery Menu: Sneak and Right-Click with an Empty Hand to open your personal Elemental Profile! Here you can view your current Level, XP required to level up, and all your lifetime combat stats (Kills, Abilities Cast, Perfect Parries).

NEW: Unlockable Mastery Perks

As you level up your Elemental Mastery, you will automatically unlock devastating permanent perks:

  • Level 10 (Initiate): Grants a flat +2 Magic Damage to all basic sword strikes.
  • Level 25 (Adept): Your connection to the elements deepens, granting 15% Faster Ability Cooldowns on all swords.
  • Level 50 (Master): You gain a massive +15% increased chance to trigger your sword's passive proc effects (like freezing, burning, or healing) on every hit.
  • Level 100 (GRANDMASTER): Unlocks the legendary Echo Strike. You now have a 10% chance to double-cast any ultimate ability completely for free!

NEW: Global Magic Leaderboard

Want to prove you are the strongest mage on the server?

  • Inside the new Mastery Menu, you can click the Global Leaderboard button.
  • This UI will display the Top 10 online players ranked by their current Elemental Mastery Level, complete with gold, silver, and bronze medals!

Carnage & Combat Improvements

  • Combo XP Bonuses: Successfully chaining together combo abilities (like Frostfire Blast or Void Storm) now grants massive bonus Magic XP!
  • Perfect Parry XP: Executing a Perfect Parry (sneaking at the exact moment you are hit) now grants a huge chunk of Magic XP to reward high-skill gameplay.
  • Soul Consumption Buff: Consuming a Crystallized Soul now grants both vanilla XP levels and 150 Magic XP towards your Mastery Level!
