guild kos seems broken, i added few guilds to the list that i did not care to pug with (so it would warn me if was in raid with members of that guild). but nothing, no flashing no lights no chat messages, only the tooltip shows they are on my guild kos.

That's the intended behaviour - if every guild kos would trigger a flashing light + sound you'd be pissed off quick.

There should be option for it in the configuration (the configuration for everything is now moved in the blizzard generic addon configuration thingy)

Right, I must say I'd appreciate the /kadd command back. 'twas convenient.

Also, which module created the elite player frame on KoS targets?

Should be done by Notifier.lua - if it doesn't work, but is enabled in the configuration options it's probably bugged.

An in game profile manager would be neat. And I'm wondering, can I delete some of the modules without breaking the addon?

    Yes.

DefaultLists.lua - Adds Player KoS, Guild KoS and other lists

DataGatherer.lua - responsible for gathering data from around you (nearby enemy, mouseover, etc.)

ChatNotifier.lua - modifies the Context-menu on right-click of names in the chat with a lookup in VanasKos, also changes the color of the name, if it's on a list.

    CommandLineHandler.lua - adds /kos

EventMap.lua - Adds Win/Loss Icons to the Worldmap

    FriendsFrameDocker.lua - Adds the KoS-Button into the the Social-Tab

Importer.lua - Allows to import Data from other KoS-Addons

MinimapButton.lua - Adds the minimap button

Notifier.lua - Necessary for every Notification other than in the Warning Window - means: Chat

Notification of KoS-Targets, "Raidwarning-Area" Notification, Sound Notification, Red Border Notification

PortraitContextMenu.lua - Adds the 'Add to' Entries to the context menu of a player portrait

    PvPDataGatherer.lua - Gathers data about pvp wins/losses

PvPStats.lua - Allows people to see statistics about the (logged) PvP-Data (requires PvPDataGatherer)

Synchronizer.lua - Synchronisation with Guild/others (not finished yet in 4.0)
DistributedTracker.lua - Distributed Tracking (not finished yet in 4.0)

    WarnFrame.lua - The warning window

In theory all can be deleted, but you should keep (at least):
    DefaultLists.lua
    DataGatherer.lua
    PvPDataGatherer.lua
    Notifier.lua

If there's a error after deleting other modules, feel free to report.

you have also to enable for every player in the guild which lists you want to receive from them. I'd suggest to wait another 1-2 weeks and use the new version which will feature alot easier guild sharing.

@Lombra: I'd suggest not to use the alpha versions, they are extremly unstable at the moment, as I'm converting the addon to Ace3. Command-Line Options were removed in favor of easier code (only /kos remains to open up the gui) - if there's demand i'd consider adding /kadd again.

@Nirek: It shouldn't log in these zones, as far as i know do the current stable/beta versions use a outdated tourist-library which doesn't know about the new zones yet. I already fixed it for the next version

@Ed0kun: The next version will feature a simplified sharing and distributed tracking, first alphas/betas should be ready within 1 or 2 weeks. Also it has "Notify in Sanctuarys" instead of Shattrath.

I don't know if this is normal, but I noticed that in the latest release (r233), some of the library folders contains further library folders, which are already included in the main library folder. This isn't the case in r231. (possibly earlier versions, as well)

No idea why that happened, but you can ignore it, the 'extra' libraries don't get loaded anyway.

it should work now - the only problem i haven't fixed yet is the pvp win/loss detection, therefore pvp wins/losses aren't recorded yet.

Yeah, of course its disabled in my config. I just don't understand why the code is needed.

because some people actually use it :)

There aren't really many alternatives afaik. Personally I never understood the need to sync with guild even.

That's why you can just disable it, or delete the Synchronizer.lua. That way it doesn't get loaded and even the options in the configuration dialog/specific options in the gui get removed.

    Message: ..\AddOns\VanasKoS\modules\Notifier.lua line 479:
attempt to index local 'data' (a nil value)

should be fixed now, happened only when the extra reason frame was enabled.

    Message: ...rface\AddOns\VanasKoS\modules\DistributedTracker.lua line 305:
bad argument #1 to 'pairs' (table expected, got string)

i don't have the slightes idea what could have caused this bug in, the variable is type-checked.

To the 2-channels: Just disable the "Wanted" list in the Distributed Tracker Configuration, that should remove VanasKoS from the Global Channel (and fix the above problem, because it is in that part of the code)

edit: maybe i fixed it now, but maybe not ;)
