12 - FEATURE REQUEST: Healing NPCs and other non-partied units
There are many quests in the game where its important to heal NPCs (eg CoT:OHB, Dimensius in Netherstorm, Scryer/Aldor netherwing daily in shadowmoon, etc). Healbot does not seem to provide any way to heal an NPC, or for that matter to heal random friendly players who are not partied (notably including Shaman Elementals).
This is EXTREMELY frustrating and easily the biggest missing feature in healbot based on all the users I've talked to - I want to be able to do all my healing via healbot, but as it is I have to drop back to manual targeting and stone-age action bars when I want to heal a non-group member like an NPC.
Please please please add some mechanism to allow this - I'm not too picky about the interface, provided it allows me to add non-partied units to my healbot frame for heals (even temporarily). I don't even care if it lacks some of the fancier functionality (HoT timers, incoming heals estimator, and so-on) - just please give me some way to throw heals at a unit who's not in my party.

First of all, It was never possible to click an NPC and add them to your targets, even before BC it was possible to have a target bar on an NPC but this disappeared as soon as combat began.
This is due UI events that only fire for people in the raid/party.
Used to be able to click an NPC and "tick" them to sticky... I miss that feature too
I only switched to Healbot after 2.4 - when KLIK stopped functioning - and I am amazed to find this missing - I have no heals on my button bar - never click anything but the casting mod interface to heal - I am glad that I found this missing when I tried to target and heal a guy running around IF while testing healbot - and not on the next Thrall escort for guildies... Yes - this is a must have...
