615 - Translation/Locale System - Mail Notification
What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?
A simple mail notification or subscription thingy (maybe daily update) when a localization was updated would be really great.
I really CBA to check the locale on a regular basis if it was changed. ;)

Flyhard Thu, 16 Sep 2010 16:33:44And please let there be a way to build alpha builds with new translations. Maybe implement a quiet-period, and build afterwards.
So if someone edits a translation, after 30 minutes of no translation changes, build a alpha build.
this would let translators testdrive the translation quite fast by updating to the latest alpha with the curse-client. No Commit-rights would be needed. Testing on a local-checkout is not going to help, since the translations wouldn't be there.

BigRedBrent Fri, 03 Sep 2010 05:12:15Along with this, I would also like the ability to subscribe to created forums.
And the ability to subscribe to individual tickets and forum threads would be very nice indeed, with the default behavior subscribing you to anything you create or post to.
I would like to subscribe to this ticket, but I would rather not subscribe to every other ticket posted just for this ticket.
And excluding your own posts in subscriptions is a given.

profalbert Fri, 28 Aug 2009 10:16:49A summary of all updated locales since the last commit/tag (release) would be nice with that.

gendi Tue, 28 Jul 2009 09:54:02I'd love to see this too please.
I've been amazed by people localizing my addon with just a link from the addon description to the localization section. Sadly, I feel I am letting them down as I don't check it as often as perhaps I should and often a week goes by and their contributions are ignored until I push another release.
Side note: I LOVE the localization implementation ;)

cremor Fri, 19 Jun 2009 06:23:24Oh yes, that would be really great. I just wanted to create a ticket for it myself, but then I found this :)
I'd like to get notifications at least when a new phrase was added or a phrase was changed in the default language.
Even better would be if we can get an option to select one (or multiple) languages where we get notifications if a phrase in that language(s) was/were changed.

StormFX Sat, 21 Mar 2009 16:55:23I'll have to agree with Nev on this. It's a pain trying to keep tabs on when localizations are updated. >.<

NightOw1 Thu, 02 Oct 2008 09:04:56I do think if a translator group could be created will be helpful. So translator can group together to work things out, other than just let translation go wild.
I do occasionally do some translations but haven't got a syn access.
