531 - Login on Forum does not work
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click "Home" - I see "Hi skyflash! Logout" on the right side
2. Click "Forum" - I see "Login Register" on the right side
3. Posting does not work because I am not logged in

My login works fine on all other parts of Curse.

segma Tue, 17 Mar 2009 03:34:09I cannot log into forums.wowace.com using any browser other than Firefox and I suspect why is that I've a cookie of some kind that auto-logged me into the forums. It doesn't work in Chrome or Safari. Perhaps it is a Webkit thing? All I have access to is Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.
Otherwise my problem is exactly the same as PixelMuse's. I would also like to add, attempting to change my password in Firefox does not work. It simply refuses to load the page. I click on the edit button and the site reloads with no edit fields available.
NoScript/Adblock was disabled for that test.

I don't see it being a cookie problem (at least in my own case) since it happens in multi-browsers. Plus I have cleared cache, cookies even restored default/reset it etc.
Is there no admin or moderator who can simply just check the mysql database or use some kind of manage members administrative feature to fix bugged out user accounts?
If none of the above is possible can you advise what people can do who would like to participate in the wowace forum community? I have been trying to get this resolved for weeks now, even submitted a form linked from the wowace site and so far I just haven't gotten any info.

Sarched the forums member list has no user listed named Pixelmuse
If I try to register Pixelmuse I get error: Username is already in use.
If I try to login at the forums: You have entered an invalid username or password. Please press the back button, enter the correct details and try again. Don't forget that the password is case sensitive. Forgotten your password? Click here!
Wowace Forums > Lost Password Recovery Form > enter email address > You have not entered an email address that we recognize. Please try again or contact the administrator.
however I can log into curse with all the same information or login from the main wowace page just fine.
I would still appreciate a response on this. Sort of sucks to wait over a month and not receive any info regarding a simple forums account creation.

Kaelten Mon, 02 Mar 2009 16:20:00This really can only happen if your cookies are messed up and it's not accepting new ones. Or if for somereason the forum can't create your user account :s

I can log into the wowace.com site fine but not the forums. I have tried in IE7 and Firefox 3 and get the same results. Appreciate any help. :(

taral Thu, 08 Jan 2009 08:27:26Same problem. Login on wowace.com works fine. forum.wowace.com shows me not logged in. Attempting to reply gets me a login window that does not accept my wowace username/password.

pagezero3 Wed, 12 Nov 2008 23:32:39I created a new pagezero3 account and both wowace main site and the forums had been working fine, now about a month later this account as the same problem, wowace forums doesn't think I am logged in and the Login button on the forum pages does nothing.
