2927 - Create ticket from comments on Curse.com

I was very please when you implemented: 152 - Move comment to new ticket BUT was a little sad :( when I realised it didn't work for curse.com's comments which is where most of the users seem to post problems!

I would like to propose that this same system (although ensuring the user who posted the comment is the requester not the author!) is used for the curse.com tickets.

I think this would be even more useful...

Especially if the original user is emailed with:

  1. A link to the new ticket
  2. Instructions on how to subscribe to updates from it. :)

That is a great idea as well cobra. Just have a button on the curse.com site to report bugs, request features and maybe vote on existing ones. :) The vote feature is already on curseforge but as the two sites are kept so far apart (not sure why to be honest) most users NEVER see the tickets so just post junk in the comments sections with huge error reports. Just having a button that sends them to the curseforge/wowace ticket page (they would need to be auto logged in as users may think it's a tick otherwise!) would do. :)

Support for this feature on curse.com would be great - in fact, allow people to create tickets directly I'd say. Most users are only aware of curse.com and not curseforge.com, and it's very common to get bug reports from curse.com - I'd say it's popular enough to warrant a "Report a bug" button in a prominent position on the curse.com website.

I would also say that some of these people are very likely coming from the client - it would be nice to move the "Report a bug" menu item into a more prominent position in the client UI.

This would be an amazing feature. I hate having my comments on Curse get cluttered with bug reports, "It doesn't work" reports, or anything else of the sort.
