2749 - Ability to mark addon incompatibilities

It would be nice if we could list addons that cause incompatibility issues that would then notify the user in the curse client.

Example: 2 addons that replace a guild interface will be naturally incompatible with each other and can cause errors or crashes if they are both installed.

I would like to be able the add other addons to the relationship section as incompatible so that users will know there is a issue directly from curse client. A brief statement of why the addons are incompatible would also be helpful.

I don't think this is necessary or useful.

Ideally, you should strive to make your addon compatible with all others, so there should never be any permanent "This addon doesn't work with Addon X" issues -- if one arises, fixing it should be your top priority.

Issues like the example in your ticket -- two addons that both replace or modify the guild interface -- should just be obvious to anyone with enough of a brain to install and use an addon in the first place. If you don't think it's obvious that your addon modifies the guild interface, you could write something clarifying that in your addon's description, or in a custom ticket template. If users are too lazy or stupid to read the addon description before assuming it's broken, they're likely also too lazy or stupid to read anything in the Curse Client.
