2428 - Allow purchase of out-of-stock items

Amazon gift cards have been out of stock for the last month-or-so, and I have a pile of points accumulating. It'd be nice if I could just spend them on out of stock cards and have the order fulfilled whenever they get back in stock.

Being unable to spend points on neither of amazon.co.uk and amazon.de renders the earned points worthless. Importing from US to EU costs extra shipping and is penalized by taxation and custom charges as well as fees for handling that by the local authorities.

I agree, The other benifit of this is, Even if they go immediately out of stock, you could distrubute them evenly...Isnt the program supposed to fund itself tho, why are the cards out of stock?...Aww well
