2183 - Deleting a Localization Phrase should work more like a deletion
What steps will reproduce the problem? Please provide as much detail as possible.
1. Delete a localization phrase in a project.
2. Click the "Translators" link. The number of translations includes those which were deleted.
3. Make a new phrase with the same name as the one which was deleted. This is impossible - the old phrase could possibly be renamed as timestamp_name.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Phrase totals should reflect actual, usable phrases. Deleting a phrase should not lock it from being used ever again.
At what time and date (year, month, day) did you get this bug? (Include your timezone)
Irrelevant - it's consistently reproducable.

KarlKFI Tue, 25 Jan 2011 20:00:03I second AdioX's comment.
I'd love to be able to delete multiple entries from the phrase list page, like with checkboxes and a delete button. Maybe even a Delete All button to start over.

AudioX Tue, 16 Feb 2010 10:13:03I'm having similar problems with re-adding a localization namespace. I can't currently re-add a namespace because it already exists, even after deletion.
On a related note, it would be MUCH easier to maintain localization if the add on author(s) had the ability to manage multiple entires at the same time. E.g. I want to rebuild my localization and so want to delete the existing values. At the moment it seems that I have to delete every single entry manually, 1 at a time. In small projects that wouldn't be so bad, but I've over 150 entires to wade through.
