1966 - Cannot start application. Contact the application vendor.

What steps will reproduce the problem?  Please provide as much detail as possible.
1. As I was exiting WoW, an error popped up that said the client was not working correctly (paraphrase, sorry).  The error explained that I should download the setup file, uninstall the existing program, and then run the installation file.
2. I downloaded the setup file directly from curse.com and then followed the above instructions.  The above error popped up.  I retried with the same result.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Fix the client, I guess!

At what time and date (year, month, day) did you get this bug? (Include your timezone)

    You need to use the in-client reporting tool for this, and posting the issue will help.  Also posting in the appropriate project would help too. :)

    You should seriously post the error, word for word, if you expect someone to be able to help you with this.
