1549 - curseforge email address issues
My Curse and WowAce/Curseforge email addresses were set to an old email account, and I wanted to change them to my Gmail account. I was able to successfully change my Curse email address, but when I try to change my WowAce/CurseForge addres, it says "email address already in use". What gives?
UPDATE: It turns out that the problem was due to the fact that there was somehow indeed another account in the system using my new email address (don't remember making it but whatever). However, I found some additional issues with the site as a result:
1. Curse.com does not notify you if you try to change to an email address that already exists. It appears that it changes successfully, until you log out and back in to find that it has reverted to the old address.
2. WowAce/CurseForge's password reset feature on the login screen is broken due to the fact that it requires you to populate the name and password fields instead of just the email address field.

HunterZ Tue, 21 Jul 2009 22:30:20It seems I'm also having trouble changing my email address on Curse.com. It appears that I'm able to change it, but when I log out and back in it has reverted to my old address. I still receive favorites update notification emails only at my old address. Argh.
