1306 - Add X- Tag to TOC To Indicate Dependencies
Since X-Embeds was removed, there is no way to resolve dependencies in-game. ACP was using X-Embeds to do just that.
Please add some tag with similar functionality eg.

Drool Mon, 04 May 2009 21:08:46Except the packager already adds 4 X-Curse- lines to the .toc. Having another one that allows in-game addon managers (such as ACP) to indirectly read the OptionsDeps line would be useful for enabling libraries and such.

Ackis Mon, 04 May 2009 20:13:07Wouldn't this be an author choice to do this? Curse supports dependencies already via the .pkgmeta for repo's and there is a STRONG pushback against modifying any files for any reason.
I would think that if the this would be entirely up to the author to support and not something that should be added/forced by Curse.

Drool Sun, 03 May 2009 19:20:13This would be super spiffy. Ideally, Blizz would add a way to read OptionalDeps but failing that, if CC could copy it over to a readable X-Curse- tag, ACP would make efficiently running disembedded much smoother.
