1306 - Add X- Tag to TOC To Indicate Dependencies

Since X-Embeds was removed, there is no way to resolve dependencies in-game. ACP was using X-Embeds to do just that.

Please add some tag with similar functionality eg.

X-Dependencies:

Unfortunately, my EU account doesn't give me access to the US forums...

What about petitioning blizz to let you read the opt depts?

Except the packager already adds 4 X-Curse- lines to the .toc. Having another one that allows in-game addon managers (such as ACP) to indirectly read the OptionsDeps line would be useful for enabling libraries and such.

Wouldn't this be an author choice to do this?  Curse supports dependencies already via the .pkgmeta for repo's and there is a STRONG pushback against modifying any files for any reason.

I would think that if the this would be entirely up to the author to support and not something that should be added/forced by Curse.

This would be super spiffy. Ideally, Blizz would add a way to read OptionalDeps but failing that, if CC could copy it over to a readable X-Curse- tag, ACP would make efficiently running disembedded much smoother.
