1850 - Update recreates Windows Vista desktop & start menu shortcuts
Submitted Via
Curse Client 4.0.0.958, Microsoft Windows NT 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2
Description
Everytime Curse v4.x updates (which it is setup to do automatically), it recreates the shortcuts to the program on the desktop as well as in the start menu. I find this rather annoying, as my start menu is setup differently than the default Windows hierarchy, so I constantly have to go in and delete these duplicate shortcuts after every update.
Steps to Reproduce
Windows Vista Home (32-bit) running Curse Client v4.x automatic updates will cause this issue.

Adamar Mon, 19 Oct 2009 22:35:25You can disable the desktop shortcut from being recreated: http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-v4-windows/pages/desktop-shortcut-option/
Unfortunately, the Start Menu shortcut is not something we can change. It is something which happens automatically with Microsoft ClickOnce applications.
