Curse Client for Mac

737 - Repeatedly asks for system.privilege.admin rights

Description

The Curse Client asks for system.privilege.admin rights ("Type your password to allow Curse Client to make changes"), but doesn't appear to need them – at least, the client appears to work just fine after I deny the request for admin rights. Neither the app nor any documentation I can find explain why the Curse Client wants admin privileges.

Reproduction Steps

Launch the client. (Version 4.0.0.297, MacOS X 10.6.2, Intel.)

This is related to file permissions. In your case it's probably trying after each commit you're making to your projects.

I'll be fixing it to add a check to make sure it ignore working copy files for the permission checks.
