Description

A feature missing from the 4.0 client that was present in the 3.0: the option to specify updating to a beta release of an addon, in order to stay fully up to date.

    I don't know if the Mac version supports it yet, but the Windows version has two ways to specify Beta installs of addons:

    1. Right click any addon and select the install type (settings per addon)
    2. Click the Tools menu, go to Options, Games & Addons, and change it universally for all addons there

    The Mac version will eventually be identical to the Windows version for features, but I don't know if those two are in the current Mac version.
