160 - Add tooltips to mac listview
Regarding http://www.curse.com/forums/t/88523.aspx
Version: Mac 3.0 client
Problem context: The icons displayed in the client next to each addon lack information on mouseover, and there doesn't seem to be a reference to them anywhere in the app or on curse.com. Where can we get a listing of these? I want to know what the application is trying to tell me.
As a suggestion, I'd like to offer that an application should not have an indicator of any kind that the user has no way to properly interpret.
Solution: Add tooltips to the mac version to display the icon status. This is considered a better fix than displaying a legend.

Ackis Thu, 10 Sep 2009 21:30:59Hello, the v3 of the client is being phased out. A new version is currently in alpha testing which will address most if not all of the issues encountered. The client will be available for beta testing shortly.

azstargazer Sat, 18 Apr 2009 17:46:51Tooltips may take a while and are probably lower priority than other bugs (rightfully so), so please take 30 minutes and add icon descriptions to the web page the "Curse Client Help" in the Help menu takes you too. Please do this with all haste! Thx
