Any ETA on when the newer version might have an alpha/beta release so we can bug test it? The amount of use it would undergo by the Curse user base would far surpass any internal testing.
Wed, 26 Nov 2008 00:51:57 +0000 http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-osx/?comment=37 http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-osx/?comment=37 no-reply@curseforge.com (Dreadsinger) Comment #36 http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-osx/?comment=36
Since this is still in beta phase can you provide a debug mode so we can offer you more information on the failures.
Thu, 20 Nov 2008 16:41:52 +0000 http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-osx/?comment=36 http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-osx/?comment=36 no-reply@curseforge.com (sbrunner) Comment #35 http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-osx/?comment=35
Mine wont open either. Anyway that you could just change the library to 5.0.0 instead of 7.0.0 so that those of us running Tiger can still use this. As others have said this thing isn't all that useful if 75% of people on a Mac aren't running Leopard yet.
Tue, 11 Nov 2008 19:44:48 +0000 http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-osx/?comment=34 http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-osx/?comment=34 no-reply@curseforge.com (dfenton) Comment #33 http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-osx/?comment=33
I'm getting an 'Error 2' when using the client...(Can't find directory).

Initially the client wasn't working at all. Then I found the advice on the forum around opening up a terminal window and 'touching' wow.exe. I did this, after which the Client was indeed able to find my addons. It went through the initial configuration (recommending new versions of various addons). However, after that it still doesn't appear to be updating the mods. For example, if I highlight an addon and click 'update addon' it does the addon download but then gives me 'error 2 - can't find' when it tries to install.

Any suggestions?
Tue, 11 Nov 2008 19:17:07 +0000 http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-osx/?comment=33 http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-osx/?comment=33 no-reply@curseforge.com (Arinn) Comment #32 http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-osx/?comment=32
I have a Mac OSX 10.5.5 Intel Core 2 Duo and I can use both Safari and Firefox browsers.

I'm more or less new to Curse and although I had managed to get 2 addons working (Auctioneer and Suki Minimap Coords), after the lastest patch 3.0.2, none of them worked at all. So now I'm trying out new minimap and coord addons but even though I follow the directions exactly, there're not working at alll either.

On Safari, I tried the automatic install and I was directed to a window that said "Safari can’t open “psyn://addonservice.curse.com/AddOnService.asmx/GetAddOn?pAddOnId=4922” because Mac OS X doesn’t recognize Internet addresses starting with “psyn:”.

On Firefox, when I tried automatic install, an alertbox popped up that said "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (psyn) isn't associated with any program." I have no clue what this "psyn" thing is.

So I tried using the manual install and followed the directions exactly. I tried Cartographer and nothing showed up in WoW. I tried QuestHelper and nothing showed up.

The Addons button in the lower left corner of the character screen showed up but when I clicked on it, with both Cartographer and QuestHelper, it said "dependency missing" and I have no idea what that meant.

So I downloaded CurseClient and now when I try to download something, like QuestHelper for example, it shows the download bar, downloading, but then a box pops up that says "Can't create file 'QuestHelper/QuestHelper/static_deDE.lua' (error 2: No such file or directory).

I tried to download it again and now there seems to be response whatsoever.

HELP! I'm extremely frustrated and have absolutely NO clue what to do!
Sat, 08 Nov 2008 05:22:37 +0000 http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-osx/?comment=32 http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-osx/?comment=32 no-reply@curseforge.com (kcgreg) Comment #31 http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-osx/?comment=31
hi i have an intel mac with leopard 10.5 the clint opens fine but when i click on addon it just say download stopped on all addons all i need is quest helper please help

dean
Fri, 07 Nov 2008 09:18:00 +0000 http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-osx/?comment=31 http://www.curseforge.com/projects/curse-client-osx/?comment=31 no-reply@curseforge.com (deangaler1)
