eclipse or NP++
For addons, Notepad++.
General favourite IDE is VS2008, nothing comes close to it.
I mainly use editplus
ConTEXT for quick single-file edits on Windows... Visual Studio is awesome, but I don't think it's the right tool for this...
SubEthaEdit on Mac for single-file stuff. Eclipse if I want to keep track of a whole project.
Kate or vi on Linux for single-file. Eclipse in the same situation I use it on Mac.
Notepad ++ on the PC
For those who like it, try "Text Wrangler" for OSX.
Good times,
Nikk
PSPad really cuz it's free, but UltraEdit is the closest thing I s'poze
I mainly use Visual Studio, but can't use that for WoW :( So i use notepad++ for addons instead.
I use Notepad on my PC and MacVim on my Mac. Personally though, I much prefer Notepad and can't wait for a port :P
