I rather like the free DejaVu font package myself. It's free software (the changes are public domain, and the Bitstream Vera copyright allows for modification and redistribution) and has glyphs for the full latin and cyrillic alphabets (ensuring no WoW player's name will be ????????)

moonwitch Apr 25, 2009 at 11:56 UTC - 0 likesI feel saddened by the results, Comic sans has too many votes. That font should be banned from life as we know it.
Lucinda Console, Consolas and Calibri are faves of mine as well.

GeodesicDragon Apr 22, 2009 at 18:17 UTC - 0 likesVerdana is the best! Easy on the eye, neat, and looks good on pretty much all the letters and emails I write.

HunterZ Apr 22, 2009 at 13:32 UTC - 0 likesI use Arial Narrow for everything because it's readable and compact. All other fonts I've tried are either unreadable or too wide.
