This does not seem to be affecting CurseForge, WowAce or SC2Mapster.

You may need to clean your cache with: ipconfig /flushdns
If it does not help switch to Google's public DNS, they have new records.

Rhazzledazle Nov 21, 2010 at 20:54 UTC - 0 likesHi Ackis, I only have one browser, IE 8, that 's all I've every used, not 8 but IE for the past 15 - 16 years or so. When I say I posted a few times, I meant at cures.com, coments or questions on a few of the addons, like benecaster, Natur enemy bar, Ozraid maybe.
I tried hitting the Join now for free but that does the same, just goes to an IE page. I can download addons tho and search there.
Edit after first one: I went to my post at benecaster, clicked on my name, went to my profile, clicked on acct setting and it logged me it! So maybe the buttons ARE broke?

Ackis Nov 21, 2010 at 16:21 UTC - 0 likesTry another browser Rhazzledazle. If you can hit the website, it's not related to the dns at all.

Rhazzledazle Nov 21, 2010 at 12:54 UTC - 0 likesI still can not login to curse.com, meaning I hit the login button and nothing happens. Been trying almost all day for the past 4 or so days, it just sits on loading then stops and I get this window "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".
Yet I can login here and other sites, have I missed something? I've been a member here since 2008 and have posted a few times.

Ackis Nov 18, 2010 at 17:22 UTC - 0 likesLong story about the issue is that it's been fixed for a day or so now. Curse changed something with their servers and updated the DNS entry. That's the technology that allows you to type www.curse.com into your browser and go to the server at the IP address 68.64.47.204. Now internet service providers (ISP) cache this so they save time/bandwidth without having to get the information all the time. What's causing the problem is that peoples ISP's are not updating with the new records.

Sandchaza Nov 18, 2010 at 15:43 UTC - 0 likesAs long as your on the issue, I don't care why they aren't working. If you didn't know Curse, the addon's are still working. So Only thing I was worried bout was having a out of date addon. Thank You for working hard to resolve this.
Sandchaza.
